Air Pump Running Time

How often should the air pumps run ? Should I put them on there own timer . Please help

I run all my air pumps 24/7 dwc, aero, drip, bubbleponics.

I do flood and drain and I run my air pump 24 / 7 to keep things moving around .

i havent run an air pump in my ebb @ flow for years, i shortend the bottom of my overflow to create a waterfall effect

I think he's wondering why you'd run one on the table itself, not in the reservoir.

I guess if you have a system that floods often then it's cool, but these rock wool slabs can sometimes go 4 days w/o water...peace JR

24/7 brotha! and buy a cheap back up one from Wal Mart just in case one of the pumps goes bad ...
