Last ten days

Alrighty then, looks like I'm finally there and am going to start the last ten days before harvest. So here's the question. What do you do for your last ten day routine?

Flush just means water as previously but with water and no nutes right? or does the term flush encompass other things like water more then ususal or water differently or anythign? I associate Flush with 2 weeks of water only, is that correct?

More or less, this is correct. I don't bother ph ing my last flush and here is why... We are leaching the soil of nutrients and salts. Why do we care if the plant can take in nutrients through the roots or not? There is absolutely no reason to waste PH down on a final flush.

Also, I would go with 3x the container size with water for the final flush. I'm with Solosmoke while in the middle of a grow, bhut I like a heavy final flush.

Then, just water again in 2-4 days, depending on when it needs it and that should about be your last watering. Do not water within 2-3 days of chopping the plant. It'll make your drying a lot easier.

There are also a few products that purportedly bind to salts and flush them out of the soil easier. To my knowledge there is clearex from botanicare, and for organics there is royal flush from humboldt nutrients. I have also heard of people using molasses in their final flush trying to accomplish the same effects.

Quick question since you guys are already well into the subject. I am in soil and only water every 5-6 days. When I flush the last week should I double the watering/flush to clean them out good, then dry 3 days prior to chopping? Last run I only flushed one time at the beginning of the last week and the smoke is a bit harsh. Any thoughts/tips? Thanks !
