Natty ... Invest in a 100x Zoom microscope ( only about a tenner ) you can then watch your trichomes and have a better idea when its ready .
I would have said 3-4.... 5 being a bit over whats needed ... but hey .

Don't rush your buds. You are free to cut when you want, but you are only hurting your own yield. Those stems don't even have half the flowers they are going to get. Like I said, you easily have 3-4 weeks to go, probably more. Growing weed is about patience. If you rusdh the end, ALL of your work to get them to that point is nearly entirely wasted. Sit back and chill. Hell, go buy a bag...

Should be done in time if u cut then, but be sure they are ready b4 u chop- mine were cut at that time last year and were cured in time for xmas
i grew WW first grow and they didnt smell much until near harvest- this time around im growing diff strains and they stink- kinda wishing they didnt as i can smell em outside my garage! lolgl

is it normal for a strain to take longer to harvest than it says on the "pack" so to speak, this is snow white and flowering time is 8-10 weeks but its been flowering for over to months and 70% of the hairs are still cloudy.
any help/advice would be great.

yes that is completely normal. breeders have a nasty habit of exaggerating the quickness of the harvest. pretty much a tactic to get people who otherwise would not have purchased to get the seeds. the good news is that the buds will fatten up quite a bit before chop time. snap a pic in 2 weeks and compare it to the pics you posted earlier. they won't be ready yet but pics from throughout the grow will be really useful on future grows until you get a visual feel for harvest time. they look really healthy.
