finished the bubbler, then it broke. i may be able to salvage most of it and rebuild it. i almost cried. 
i made another hash pipe, one to sell. and a really cool jar. pics to be posted tomorrow. i'm too tired to do anything tonight. spent 10 hours on it and it broke.

Just curious, fdd. Ever considered making oil dishes? I mean actual dishes. I know you make those bitchin' marbles that have such awesome designs and artwork and I have seen people do some AMAZING things with dishes. Plus, they're quite useful on top of that.
Should check it out, I'd love to see what you come up with for one of those.
Some examples for anyone who hasn't seen or used a dish for their oil/ wax/ budders;

why would i need to take MORE pics? you've already seen and love it. it is the size of a slide. you can see the fitting, compare itself to that.

for real I'd say general rule of thumb with fdd, if it looks good the way he took a pic of it initially, it'll look 2-3x better in real life!i said "most of it can be salvaged". which means "i will fix it".
why would i need to take MORE pics? you've already seen and love it. it is the size of a slide. you can see the fitting, compare itself to that.
there are pics of some in this thread. i'll try to get my picture thread put together today.

spent 10 hours on the torch yesterday and i don't feel like i accomplished anything.
i use a blank fitting to cap the bubbler while i'm building it. when i was welding on the stem i "flashed" the fittings with the flame and a tiny blob of glass hit the outside it them. it melted thru and "tacked" them together. i tapped and tapped and tapped and they would NOT come apart. finally i just started smacking it until it broke. i can easily reuse the stem and possibly fix the can. it might not be too bad. or it could all explode.
i made another hash pipe but the lines i put on it make it look funky. it's not really as funky as it looks.
i did make a cool jar, but i had better expectations on the color.
the one thing that did turn out sweet is this second bowl.
