I think it is ok to drink as long as it doesn't get to the point where you do not know what you are saying or doing! To have a few to relax is great , even get smashed once in awhile is good too but ive seen to many that take it too far and their attitude changes once clouded by the alcohol. ..and then not to remember what was said or done!!! No excuse in my books....I hardly drink these days because of the experiences ive been through so....

You know growey, I used to do that. It just turned me off alcohol further, ironic as I worked at a wine estate as well as a winery before. I live in a grape growing area.
But dude, think its sad when we need drugs, even pot or beer. Its a warning sign that we relinquished alot of what we were about before, and replaced it with said substance.
I don't know, I'm just putting it out there, and I don't even say I don't occasionaly oscilate to that mode of operation myself.

I hear ya, I HAVE TO Drink, cuz its my only option at the moment. and I have to drink so much just to relax the thoughts. drinking to get "there" is so very bad on your system. for such a small fleeting feeling. and yet maraaajuwanannao only takes almost half an inhilation of smoke to get you there immediately with no side effects.
hey don't get me wrong, I love a good beer, or glass of wine, those are as delicious as some fine bud, but drinking just to calm the thoughts, because thats your only option. is pretty fucked up, yet we can advertise suicide pills that do nothing at all. and people will except them because they think they are ok.

rum: bacardi silver and 151, captain morgans spiced
whiskey: scotch and burbons: knob creek, makers mark, crown royal, jonny walker, wild turkey, jack daniels, jim beam, dwars, honey something?? jameson, seagrams seven
vodka: grey goose, skky, absolute
in pretty much that order, but I dont drink much only when I get restless, the weed isn't working, or at social gatherings

EDIT: beer would only come after liquor or with food not big on beer, but favorites are zeigenbock, guiness, new castle, shinerbock black, killians red, fosters, arrogant bastard

i only drink beer as well... developed a taste for good beers over the past few years, but I still appreciate/enjoy our cheap ass domestics
