What is causing this leaf damage?

I assume this is an insect but have not seen anything causing this. There are bites like this all around the garden and not on one specific plant. I inspect top side and bottom side of each leaf and cant seem to find anything. It has been a few weeks and new spots pop up once in a while. I use azatrol every few weeks as a preventative measure and it seems this does not help for this particular insect.

Any ideas?

Because it doesn't look like damage from a bug. without knowing anything about your garden I'd guess fan damage from fans pointed directly at them or pH swing earlier on but the leafs look good so I wouldn't worry.

Hey,,
I had similar damage in my grow,, I looked looked and looked again and couldnt find any bugs(big enough to take the big chunks outta it.)... is this the same for you? ??
so after my neem regium and other such pest stoppers it was still happening... Two days later I catch this mouse in the house. Not in the grow room but he coulda got in there.... got the little begger in a trap, and mysteriously the chunks stopped being taken.
Either that or a moth was in there but it got got by my bug zapper I put in for a few night around the same time.
I feel your frustration at not being able to get what ever it is(Im still not sure what was eating my babys) and I wish you the best of luck to kill mame or oust the pot plant muncher..

Take it easy..

i couldnt disagree more, that amount of damage and type of damage is something chewing!

pH problems would cause burning/discolouration/deficiency
fan directly blowing would cause leaf roll first and burns second .

Definately a pest of some sort! time to go COLUMBO get investigating!!!!!

Doubt it is fan damage or ph but thanks for the replys. I ph water consistent at 6.5, although i know soil ph can change. Small amounts of wind blowing wont bore holes in the leafs either.

Hey good to hear someone else has seen this problem. It is not a mouse because i have a huge hydro plant that would be real hard for a mouse to eat. He would actually have to climb quiet a ways...not saying its not a possibility but not likely. The moth sounds like the best bet as my friend has said moths can do this. Ill do some research on moth damage.

That's some insect damage but nothing too serious at this point.

Keep your eye out and you'll probably find a worm or beetle roaming around in there somewhere.

OK, so tell me, what is it? What pest doesn't azatrol kill and makes that damage? Name one.
Not sure what it is, this is why i started the thread. I am just expressing my opinion of the matter. Sorry i don't agree with you. If you want to continue to think it is ph or a fan then that is fine with me.

So what are you agreeing with? lol, some mystery bug that isn't effected by azatrol and hides from you? Good luck

look at the original posters reputation.

You think its gonna be a rookie mistake like pH or fan positioning???

J
Good point...how do you even read the reputation thing anyway? I see we both have 5 green blocks...but i have 6 blocks that arent colored followed by that. what does this mean anyway?

to be honest, im leaning 90% towards animal or bug actually chewing or eating it. Although it may turn out to be a nutrient problem, I would be very surprised if so.

its just a way of other people knowing you aren't full of shit when you give advice.

once you hit enough +rep points you get 5blocks then the others appear as you get more.

laymans terms "you have more rep than me lol"

Oh no he's got reputation points. Like I said, doesn't look like bug damage. The damage is completely different on one leaf, so maybe people with reputation can tell me what bug is it? I mean with such reputation you should be able to come up with something better than "something is eating them" shouldn't you?
