Seriously, watch out. If you fit the profile of a smoker, have any record for MJ charges in the past be aware. drive around the shop before entering just to make sure. My friend went to a local grow shop on the way, he drove by a guy parked just looking at the grow shop in a green suburban he was still sitting there when he left. I told him he was paranoid. The next day I went to a grow shop at the other end of town 15 miles away and sure enough there was a green suburban across the road, and up a street about 100 yards away. I walked past the grow shop and to another store up the street, bought a coffee walked out and drove around the block to see what was up with the suburban. I pulled beside him and I asked for directions to a bank I knew was up the street. He was pissed and asked me my name, where I lived, and why I needed to go to the bank, It was apparent he knew what I was doing and mad I had the balls to talk to him. He had a camera and a stationary stand laptop in the front seat with a CB and other cop shit. Thankfully I was in my 80 year old uncles car, mine was in the shop.
After researching this fascist phenomenon. I found out the DEA does stake out grow shops and is free to do just about whatever they want as far as surveillance. After They record your license plate at the grow shop, they than look up your record, they look at your electric bills, bank information and search through your garbage all without warrants. After they do all this and find suspicious activity they get warrants.
Watch out, especially if you live in Florida where monitoring of grow shops seems to be extremely popular with the police and DEA
