Few questions before i start my 1st grow

depends on how big the grow box is, how close the lights are to the plant ect ect. tell us a little about this grow box. how tall, wide, deep. you said you got it pre made. maybe you can post a link to it so we have a better idea.

I had a similar timer and the fuckin thing had a mind of its own, you get what you pay for tho! don't be surprised if it skips an off cycle or dosn't turn off when it should.

The lights will be 1-2 inches away from plant at all times.

1 lowryder #1, 3 or 4 23W cfl's. Fox farms ocean forest soil. And for nutes since i don't need much i am trying out nirvana's flowering tablets.

nice ol bud: You think i should have 4 instead of 3? Does it matter if the lights are really close to each other, because if that matters then i cant have 3 :s

So the plug that powers the fans is really close to the lights if I have 4 lights connected and it gets very warm/hot.

Is this safe?

hey millyy, did you get your timer figured out? I have same timer and the hours you want the lights off, make sure the levels are pushed down. The hours you want the lights on, the levels should be pulled up. For example, I have my lights on at 7:00pm and off at 7:00am. The levels are pulled up from the black 7 to the white 7. The rest of the numbered levels are pushed down. You should have the numbered levels pushed down between the white 6am level to the white 12pm level. Hope that helped:)
