thanks man. im not sure about the strain it was just a bagseed i have, this is my first grow...yeah its a 3.5 gallon cat food bucket, it works perfect i just wrapped the outside in black duct tape

its day 22 for rocky and choo choo and there looking great!! i gave them a shot of juice just now and will give them straight water the next watering in a couple days. i got a new light setup for the veg box too. its a 3 bulb adapter and has 3 6500k bulbs, i had a 2700k in the middle hanging down for side lighting but that bulb raised the temp 3 degrees to 86/87, so put the bright white in and it back down to 84 just like it was with just 2 bulbs.

but im real happy with the way the setup is now and its done, im not messing with it any more. as the plants get bigger over the next couple weeks, i'll have to take the box out of the bottom and just raise the plants back up to the light with VHS video tapes, works great, and then take the tapes back out as they get bigger.

also, here a 150/42 watt 2700k bulb at hope depot, its $10 and has 2600 lumens. oh yeah, i have 2 of those and i think im gonna put the new girls in them for final potting, i had them for the hydro setup i gave up on and went to soil. they should fit in the u-haul box perfect.

Looks good bro, that 3 bulb adapter looks pretty cool! I have to screw like 3 y's together to get the same effect lmao...

yeah, its great, was like $7 for all 3 pieces, im very happy with it, hey one thing treeZ, i got the clamp light and a Y, but when you put the Y in, the bulbs cant screw into it??? was thinking about getting another 3 bulb thing to use as an extension and then it would work great, do you use the dome part? i would like to so i guess i'll do it that way with the extension, its less than $3.

POOP im late for class but smelly trees hid my bong and i couldnt get here!!any way got the same bulbs same place and they have kill 300 w cfl there i used them last grow and got great results..it was like 15$. and i also use 1 200 w 6500k to veg 3 plant at 1 time,people said to me to get the same watt's with more smaller bulbs for more lumens ....so iam doing that with 3 plants
so i got 3 with 1 light and 3 with four 5 lights on them ....well the dif is HUGE the 3 with 200 w are 2 times bigger then the 3 with 5 bulbs!!
pics for the proof ..and all get same nutes and such

LMAO, thats funny as hell, blame it on treeZ. all those girls look great man, real nice!! yeah i saw that bulb, its huge. id like to change to some of the bigger ones but im leaving it alone for now, im done buying bulbs, LoL. but im gonna still keep thinking about im sure. heres that bulb.

Yea my bad I should have told you that but no I don't use the reflector. I don't think you should either though do to heat issues but if it doesn't increase your heat then I guess it couldn't hurt!

LoL, glad to see you back around allen! Plants look great!! what I would do is run those big fin cfl's for top lighting and surround your plants with the clamp lights and smaller cfl's! The way you have all those smaller cfl's up top is good for the top of the canopy but you really need to get them "surrounding" the plant which can be tricky and I bet it will increase your yields!

This isn't the greatest example because its 12/12 from seed in party cups but you see how I use the clamps to surround them in different areas and then I have the big 68 watter for the tops..

Btw CD, I decided to germ my FEM G-13 Labs White Widow :) She will be kept small and reasonable but I'd like to try and replicate Starburst only with straight cfl's in my stealth cab and a few clones to keep her going!! We will see, I'll keep you posted I just wanted to give you the exclusive haha...

hell yeah, add another grow, LoL. my buddy already wants to order more seeds, i told him to slow down, i wanna clone this rocklock and he wants clones from the KK, so we'll see what happens next. i think i want to get like 3 seeds of one strain, that dam blue mataro is to expensive to dick around and not have germ, but i really want it too, LoL. let me know when she's up, i wanna watch that one too.

Will do! Shit I should have tried my mataro lol, I've just been wanting to do a white widow strain for a while now. I still have all those nirvana white widows too but I want to save those for when I get more space.. I'm working with a smaller box than you now but I might try to pull off a tent when shes ready to go into flowering with some sort of hps... Idk we will see!

Oh btw I was helping my friend move the other day and guess what I noticed lmao... One of the big uhaul boxes hahaha!!! I actually thought of you when I noticed it!

dang haha , i just read most of these post , makes me feel like i read a book, iv been trying to figure out how you have your water system set up if its the whole gravity watering system thingy, cause thats really frickin cool, iv been thinking about setting up a drip system to my set up, how is that rigged up, and nice grow, after most all my reading im deffinatly subscribing.

It blows me away how much these things can grow on a daily basis. Its like everyday when i come home from work the plants are so different than what they looked like when i leave in the morning. It's definately gratifying.
