Wow! Hey Smelly, Did you see any noticeable results from using the molasses? I just used it today when I watered and did my update. I am going to cycle. Technaflora's Recipe, then water w/ molasses, then water, then repeat.

I've used molasses since my first grow. I'm a little more light on it now but I do still use it and believe it works well! thats pretty much exactly how I do it too with the fox farms!

well i just found a huge bottle of some so i wanted to get that test going right about the same time i start my party cups... im thinking it will be soon too since them new clones are almost rooted...

Well I put 1 G-13 Labs Fem White Widow in a paper towel yesterday and she is now showing her face I'm going to keep her in a 2 gal pot and stealth cab. As some of you know I'm downsizing for the time being. She will be done with straight cfl's most likely and kept short and bushy! I'm on the fence as to top her and lst her if needed, or just do a straight lst similar to monko's current grow..?? I would just stick with the topping because I know I can at least pull an O with 3-4 weeks of veg but I want to get at least 3 healthy clones this time around and I'm thinking straight lst from the begining might be better for this?? Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated!

Have you tried pinching technique....this works great to redirect growth to lower branches which help dramatically...and they do not stop growing for long couple days, less stress to! I've pinched mine, no topping and i got a few tops on my girl like 5-6...i updated pics...week 2 flower.

I like Hst, like Lst but more rough....my style!.... along with some pinching here and there....plus you get all those lower branches to grow...so you can take more cuttings off of later and not take away all those tops...lol like i did...i took 6 cuttings from her...wonder how many tops i would have had if i hadn't took that many??? oh well next time will be crazy??? I love Mj....in more ways than one!!!

Hst is really Lst with a bit more stress in the bends....but really each plant is different...some like it some not so much as i have found! one of mine...twisted sisters sis, got a split in the main stem from trying to bend to much...she did not like it...but she was a different strain! they where just seeded at same time. really i go by how much the plant can take without to much stress in the bend to start...then i work the same bend after a week to go more...slowly they can do almost what you want!!! starting younger is better as the stems are thinner and more flexible.

Man some plants you can just bend over...once you start to do it you will feel what is too much! my goal was to keep her under 24" and she is almost 3' so...success!

Yea height is the issue here, right now anyway if she has to stay in this 14x11x30 cab all the way through... I'm actually thinking of picking up this local 2x4 grow tent and if I do that then things change a little so I guess I won't decide exactly what I'm going to do until then.

I do have a good amount of experience with lst. Shit more Hst because I was rough with them too haha... I've done most of my lsting after I top my girls though and it works very well! I know exactly what you mean about bending them to much though, I've had one snap right at the V where her tops met Fortunatley some duct tape and healing fixed her lol...

I think your right though, I should probably try to do exactly what I did with the 2 "mystery girls" and top them at an early age to keep them short.. only this time take some clones and maybe give her a little more time to heal after I do! Thanks again lime and my mind might change again but at least I'm satisfied for now lol!

Yeah treez White Widow is amazing, although its been awhile since I've had some.. Hell Hopefully next grow I'll be in a new place and can have a bigger grow.. Might get Wonder Women and White Widow both going .. Oh check out the little one I pruned for more light to the tops..

ya my purp kush was more than lst if u look at it smelly. i was breaking the branches almost like every other day and i completely changed the way the plant grew, instead of growing up it all spread out evenly horizontally. u like take the part in the branch u wanna bend, go back and forth a few times, thenn pinch it really hard with ur index and thumb, u kind kinda feel when it snaps, then i would tie it down with twine and a golf tee. i hope the effects work well!

no problem, I just hope it works...although it's not like I am out of a huge amount of money like I would be with other nutes if it doesn't.
