the question breaks down not so unfortunatley easy....if you are new to the game I would recommend the General Hydroponics line, its easy to use and is forgiving if you use to much to House and Garden for the experienced....the do NOT run on the same principle though...GH runs with N-P-K while House and Gardens runs off of hormones and people usually freak out whene they use Top Booster as it pulls the sugars from the leaves into the bud and everyone just assumes its killing the plants (your fan leaves should NOT look green and prestine when your bud is done....CAW!
HG is extremily concentrated and will kill your plants if you over-do-it with the nutrients and does not mix well at all with ohter lines.

The best nutrients are a custom made blend for your plants. Drip to waste. Then you know exactly what your plants are getting. If they don't want it then it goes down the drain simplicity at it's finest.

years ago..my friend and i had some plants behind his shed and we got really drunk one night and decided to see if pee would really speed up growth..it did for like a month....and then it died..it got like a couple feet taller than the rest..

we only tried this because the grass grew more in this one area..cause we always peed in it..we didnt wanna go into to pee..

wow this is horrible. Don't ever let anyone make you think its a bad thing that your plants look healthy at harvest time. OP; if you want to grow the top shelf cleanest best tasting cannabis look into organics; roots organics, earth juice, to name a couple. Or better yet Veganic; canna bio being the best in the game so far. If you want to just pump out a shitload of mediocre bud look into synthetics; Advanced nutrients, super natural, soul synthetics to name a few, there are so many out there. But if you want the best quality that is in the highest demand. go organic

Well I got some stuff in the mail today it is Hydroponic Veg + Bloom and it is supposed to be a one part that supplies all nutrients needed for the whole process...no changing at flowering...just keep on keeping on...I haven't tried it yet, but I am looking at what other people have said and to tell ya the truth I am pretty excited to try it out.

I have studied DIY nutrient threads and came away with a parallel to lighting needs. During veg more N moderate PK. During Flower moderate N, more PK, but nothing dramatic.

Lighting is similar in that during veg more blue with moderate white and red, but during flower more red but moderate blue and white, so...

I am switching to Dutch Master ONE Grow for both veg and flower, BUT, during flower will add DMs Potash+ in amounts that meet the needs of the size of the bud development: less in early flower, more towards the middle- end. hth
