Hello everyone! I've been on here for a while since I started growing my ladies. I just got into this location and i've been growin for about 2 months now. Girls are on 12/12 and about 2 and a half weeks into it. I got some questions though.

1. Do my girls look alright?
2. Any idea on how to make my grow set-up better?

Thanks! :leaf:

I'm broke for a little longer now. Will they be fine when they start to flower, they are all sexed and I can see the pistils. I tried gettin a close shot of it.

Ah that's fine then lol...I had weights on the tallest plant, "Lilly" that's why her top growths are all curvy like that.

looks well, im growing my first via CFL too, the plants will grow much larger/taller than they are so make sure you can accommodate these.

Why will I need more light? I would think that I have enough light now then compared to what I did when I first started. I first started with a single fluorscent tue.

thoes floros are really only used for Veg stage. Flower Stage requires diff spectrum of light.. you may get buds im sure.. but may be very Airy, Little Trich content? / low yielding

Well I mean, they like the red color spectrum don't they? So why wouldn't me putting red-plastic over them not change the effects of the color spectrum being provided?

Has anyone ever done this? Maybe i'll try it.

Yes, they do like the red spectrum, but how do you think transparent red plastic works? By blocking ALL other light (including the blue your plant also loves). So how will blocking out light help your plants????

NOOO!!!! red spectrum and visible red are not exactly the same thing. you will just be changing the way the light appears to you, not the plant. and on top of that you will be block what little light you currently have. get any/all light you can on those girls. i know you are strapped for cash, but any light bulb you can get as close as possible to the plants will help, it is better than not enough light.

you didn't hear this from me.... but go steal some high output CFLs, they don't really burn hot so unscrewing them isn't that hard. i don't want to know where or how, make sure it is from somewhere owned by a huge corporation, not your school or church or whatever, you need more light.

And make sure they are really close to the bulbs. With floros, you need them to basically be right on the plant (well like 2 inches away.)
