I got a hold of a couple of packs of regular and decaf coffee from a hotel I stayed at and I'm not a big drinker. So I was wondering if I could use the new coffee grounds in a soil mix??
Yes sir, you can. It's acidic as hell so watch the ph. Of course it depends on how much you have. It's good for earthworms too if you have them as part of your soil mix.
if you run the coffee through a coffee filter the coffee grounds will have a neutral ph . i think it was high times or skunk where i read to only put used coffee grounds in your soil. coffee grounds are a decent source of nitrogen too.
