6 bucket DWC will flower under two 400w HPS

Does it matter that mine have already started flowering? as Ive seen some that tell me to start prior buds forming. or can I just start adding it?
another question is, I have this stuff called awesome blossoms from technaflora, thats a bloom booster, i know its not kool bloom but have you heard any good things about it?

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
So I am 36 days into flowering for my Blackberry and my two blue cheese
30 days into flowering for my NYPD#1 and
20 days into flower for my NYPD#3
My mothers are doing great I have been LSTing them in hempy buckets.
I have four more clones taken as well that I just topped, (using uncle bens topping for four main colas technique) two of them blackberry, two of them Blue cheese
So the Barneys farm blue cheese stretches quite a bit, as well as the NYPD's I flowered each of them at under ten inches tall, and the shortest blue cheese is right under 30 inches, the tallest blue cheese is right at 38inches, the NYPDs are following about the same as far as stretching the internodal spacing in my opinion is pretty good, and light penetration is pretty respectable.While the blackberry I started flowering at about ten inches and its only about 18-20 inches max now and has developed buds far faster than either of the blue cheese.
right now Im still running the two DIY 400w HPS cool tubes and an addition 175w MH with a lightwave reflector for supplemental lighting, max temps have been about 80f

damn man! Lookin hella nice! I just had the disaster of a lifetime in my grow. I was only max 2 weeks away from harvest and some how my whoke flower room fucking died off! I almost cried.. Really had some tears roll down the face. I have not a clue as to what caused that to happen but when I went to go look at them on monday. Shit was dried out to a fuckin crisp! And the soil wasn't dried out. Only thing I can think of is the heat. I don't know. All I know is that I have to start freash and no christmas nugs for this guy

I have so much invested in this setup and grow that I have going right now that if something like that happened to me, Id probably just sit down, give up, and die. Im so sorry to hear that man!!!!
If you go with DWC this next go around, do yourself a favor and go with coolers! it will save you A LOT of headache as far as res temps and light leaks are concerned!
Another thing I would suggest is reading up on Hesienbergs beneficial bacteria thread under the DWC forum It saved my girls! Beneficials protect againts root dissease, namely brown slime algae which is something that plagues DWC growers it also allows your res temps to be higher.
I personally run 5 gallon lowes buckets wrapped in duct insulation I got from lowes l I run both six in netpots that serve as a lid on my res, and also use the standard lowes bucket lids with a 4in hole cut out so that a 4in net pot can fit on top of it I also put duct insulation on the lids rigt now I run a 85w air pump with 1 4in round airstone per bucket, but that will be 2 4in airstones per bucket on the next grow
But I dont think this would be posssible if I werent running beneficial bacteria because Im not here enough to maintain 68f res temps. mine hover in the low 70's-75 before I can get to them and change out the thawed coke bottle for a frozen one.

great grow looking forward to your wiegh in. I am running almost exact same set up as you. 6- 5gal dwc. toppping ,supercroping then lst. and I am at 6weeks vegging. from your pics I can see they doubled in size. since 12/12. do you recomend that I start flowering now or would you veg them longer? thanks

I think what size you initiate flowering depends on how much youre looking to harvest. and is determined by a lot of diffrent things, from nutes, lights, strain, and pheno.
that being said I flowered my first four and none of them were taller than ten inches. all of them grew much bigger than that as they got to between 29-38 inches depending on strain etc. except for one, my Nirvana Blackberry It is somewhere around 19 inches tall.
Since I dont know what strain youre growing, nor am I knowledgeable enough to advise you as to when to flip to 12/12 I will say from what I read MANY people flower at about the size your middle plants are.. I have read a lot of post where people have said they flower around 14 inches tall. IDK honestly ...What is more important I think than size is sexual maturity in the plant.. it should be sexually mature enough to flower

It depends on how big you want your plants to be. 6 weeks is usually the norm for most indicas I let mine Veg for 8 weeks and now have massive nugs in flower. It depends on how much space you have ..

everything is comming along fine now, I have started looking for the trichs to turn cloudy and then amber, but not yet Nirvana says the blackberry runs for 9-11 weeks of flower, So am I right in guessing 9 weeks would be harvesting when the trichs are more cloudy than amber making the high more cereberal , or uppy, and harvesting at 11 weeks would be more amber trichs than cloudy making a more couch lock buzz ? this is what I was thinking and I plan on running nutes for another three to four days giving me at least ten days to flush, maybe 14, then harvesting them at 9 weeks for a more uppy high what confuses me about this Blackberry and the NYPD as I ordered them together, is that the blackberry ran from 45-55days, (6-8 weeks) and the NYPD ran from 55-60 days but when I go to the site now the blackberry says its 9-11 weeks... kinda confuses me

welp folks, Harvest was YESTERDAY!!!!!!! 59 days of flower and 10 days of flushing. Ill add pics once they have dried out and whatnot. looked to be a pretty plentifull bounty tho I must say
Got some Sativa seedbank NYPD, Nirvana Blackberry, and barneys farm Blue cheese that Ima be tokin on soon. and boy they already smell SOOOOOOOO damn good. I impressed my damn self, and thats hard to do cause Im my own worst critic.
