WOW shes flowering fast!

wow quantum she has relly grown! how tall is she now? that gonna be one heck of a cola!

yeah my light should be here tomorrow. im prety excited about that! i will post pics of the light and of the plants tomorrow.
 
hey guys. i got my new light today. i diddnt expect the bulb to be that big. its huge. i gues i better research how far to keep the light away. my grow box is about a 2-3ft square. the temp is around 87 degrees. i dont think thats bad for only having one fan and such a small box. it is extremly brite. i like the hi-lo hangers. there is a learning curve with them but once u get over that they are great! the learning curve is that u have to have weight applied for the light to stay low. thats why i have that half a brick on the light! i gues we will all be able to see the difference between lights. the ironic thing about it is that i had more wattage with my cfl's (420w) then i do now(400w)..

to anyone who is following this thread i just want to say thank you. even if u diddnt post i hope u learned from my grow as much as i did!

when cured the aroma of the buds reminded me of a skunk that shit fruit! a musky/fruity smell wrapped up in one package. when i would sniff the jar it would almost make me gag!

the color of the bud when cured darkens to a nice warm brown with lots of amber hairs. there wasnt to much stickiness although you could see the trichs gleeming in the light.
when smoked the bud takes more to its fruity side.

the smoke was kinda smooth kinda harsh. (couldve cured longer!)

every now an then i would get more of a head high but for the most part when i smoked this bud i got a real deep body high. i smoked with friends and family (told them i bought it) and they were all half way passed out after we smoked.

this sucker buds fast and i would reccomend this plant to anyone in any situation. it took well to being topped and lst'd. it can handle the stresses a newb. it also did great under cfl's.

if u cant pick a strain i would deff. try this one out!!!

Damn man, sounds like some good shit. Glad you got some good smoke outta of all your hard work.

That HPS will be more effective that the cfls though, you could even add some cfls to the sides of the plants once they're bigger. Can't wait to see how th hps does for you man.

wow nunotmp i love your scrog. that is awsome! those are some big pistils as well!! i bet your really excited. im just curious are you growing hydroponicly? also are ur plants sitting on marble? i would like to do scrog as well the only thing stopping me is the watering part. there is no way iwould be able to flush or water. i would still like to try it one day though.!
 
Yea im growing hydro...Drip irrigation. Naw its a old pool i cut up and used to line a tray that I built...But thanks man yea im excited the only thing that sucks is I just realized my Kandy Kush is a MALE!! that sucks man..I gave my girl that plant for her birthday and she mad as hell right now

glad to hear how they turned out sharp. How often were you watering the girls in mid to late flowering as mine are starting to seem very thirsty
 
hey cdubya! it got to a point where i was literally watering my plants every other day. the nomal time was 5 days but they just started suckin it down. i go by the weight of the pot and she kept tellin me she wanted more!

that sucks about ur kush plant. i bet ur girls like "y the fuck did u give me this shit"!!! hopefully u can get her anothe one!
 
i have to comment on this new timer i got. i used to have the kind where u set the dial in the center. that was a piece of shit. i got a digital one and man what a difference. 10x better. it feels soo good not having to worry about turning the lights on and off! (b/c u cant trust your timer)....
 
i thought i would share my expierience with htgsupply.com ... i bought my light bundle from there. i have to say that this company is on top of their game. they have some of the best prices ive seen online! their customer service great. i got an error message online so i gave them a call and m package was literally in the mail 30 minutes later. they will treat u great and if u order something through them u wont be regret it!
 
Yea I have 4ft t5 from htg and the first one they sent wouldnt turn on..so they replaced it same day without me even sending them the first one back..I still have both..First one still doesnt work but its here haha

And today is another sad day..My biggest plant NL is also a male..Fucking feminized seeds huh? Didnt even hermie on me...Just fucking males!! so out of 5 im down to 3 and my other NL is barely starting to show..Hoping its a girl but my eyes have played tricks on me twice already!
 
wow that really sucks man. ur not having any luck with the femd seeds. hell i never knew femd seeds could turn male i thought they would just herm. thats good to know though!

Yea man it fucking sucks..I cut them both down now..And yea i have 1 timer with the dial and 1 digital..I havent even used the dial one..Just picked it up cause it was $5 haha..I have a good digital, it can have up to 20 on/off programed
 
yeah there is no comparison btwn digital and dial timers! heck with 20 setting your more than good! have u ever cloned any of your plants before?

Just rooted 6 clones..I killed 3 of them because they were clones from the kk male..I have 3 left 2 Sweet Afgani Delicious and 1 LSD
 
so u have plenty of clones! i havnt done any cloning yet. i dont have a spot for them. it would be nice though!!!

Yea first time cloning also..Was pretty easy..And cheap I paid $6.50 for a clonex packet that will give you probably 20+ clones..I still have plenty of 'juice' left.
