Preparation for first AeroGarden grow, Questions before go!

Hello everyone, Im new to this forum and joined after I saw this incredibly useful aerogardners section!

Im planning on starting my first aeogarden grow a little bit after christmas, but I am getting all my research and prepartation done now. Im going to be attempting to grow http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=442 one at a time so the roots have enough room to grow and flourish with out crowding.

In terms of nutes, I was planning on going with Advanced nutrients sensi grow A & B and then sensi bloom A & B. Any opinions or recommendations on this? Im not trying to spend a whole lot on nutes, but if these are not of proper quality let me know!

For lighting, im using an AG elite, so the three cfls are all im planning on using for the first grow, but I have been looking into LED panels for some additional aid, what do you guys think about this? Waste of money? Make a noticeable difference? I was thinking of purchasing 2 of these http://www.amazon.com/LED-Orange-Spectrum-Hydroponic-2501QUAD/dp/B003AJ9O0A/ref=pd_bxgy_ol_img_c due to how compact, and clean this system would be. Would this be a good purchase or should I be buying one blue led panel for veg, and one red panel for flowering? Any help to clear this up would be fantastic!

I will of course be buying an air pump and air stones for the reservoir, and fan for the closet the grow will take place in. trying to make it as clean as possible.

Any suggestions, concerns, opinions or word of wisdom would be greatly appreciated! :-P

Make sure you cover the AG pump with panty house so out doesn't get clogged up. You can grow without it if you have air stones but its nice to have

Is the pump for the AG usually on during the grow? I will be using an airstone.
How about the LEDS? Can anyone tell me if it would beneficial at all?

Also are Pure Blend pro grow and flower ok to use in an AG?

Depends what setting you have it on. Youll just have to play around with it. As far as LEDs it all depends on how much $$$ you want to spend. You get what you pay for with them so if your are looking for cheap lighting to supplement your AG lights then get more CFLs. Check the link in my sig for an example of what good side lighting can do:)

@assasin when the plant goes to flowering u just add the 2700k lights? so both 6500k and 2700k lights will be on at the same period? i thought it was just one set per stage..?

You dont really need the actual AG on, since you'll be using the air stone, and using different lights. LEDs are good, CFL's will work just as good tho. And those nutrients will be fine, just start out at 1/4 strength after two weeks and slowly work your way up, if you havent read this, you should

Alot of good links in there too

@ray we r twins lol. this will be my first grow, im expecting easy ryder seeds as well next week. expecting aerogarden 7 early next week. i will be growing 2 plants at once tho. as far as additional lighting i plan on getting
http://www.amazon.com/Feliz-Grow-Light-6500K-Reflector/dp/B003JJG9J0/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1291330384&sr=8-15
and a 125w 2700k in that same guard. or maybe less watts and get 2 of each so i can have 2 on each side. dont kno which way will be more effective..
That light will be perfect.

would it be more cost efficient if I went with about 2 of these for 210 wattage plus the AG lights which are 26 watts each for a grand total of 262 watts for one plant
http://www.1000bulbs.com/product/6051/FC105-S65.html
and buying two others for the same price for flowering?

Or getting >> http://www.amazon.com/Feliz-Grow-Light-6500K-Reflector/dp/B003JJG9J0/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1291330384&sr=8-15, which is 125 watts plus the AG lights = 177 watts for one plant, and another 125 watt bulb for flowering?

Thoughts?

Is the amazon one a mogul base? That would be cool cause they sell those bulbs in home depot for cheaper (i believe). Either of those would work. That first one is a monster CFL but it isnt going to match the output of a 400W HID. I would say get either but still but a couple regular CFLs for side lighting.

Heres what I got so far with 6 23W. Bare in mind that if I wanted to flower I would need a lot more light. This is my veg box. Sour Diesel and Pandora's Box with clones of each in my emergency humidome.

I would suggest using the Hobbyist regimen from Advanced Nutrients, with one extra:

Sensi A&B
Voodoo Juice
Bid Bud
B-52
Overdrive

That's the basic setup, but I would also add Bud Candy since it makes your grow smell and taste great. And it makes your buds so much yummier and juicier.

good luck!
