I cut certain fan leaves away to allow full light penetration to future bud sitesIve never seen this before. How come you cut the fan leaves when you topped? I usually leave them.
I have a fair few of those fat and black smallish English spiders in the cupboard so you could be right.Nat, I am 98% sure that what we are looking at is a cluster of spider eggs. I've seen that on a lot of plants, being a backwoods-farmer boy. Now there is still a 2% chance that I am wrong. But, I am pretty confident in my answer.
Yeah well i prefer this way,all bud in the end and hardly any leaf.Hey if it works. I felt that cuting those off top didn't give enogh energy to the top to grow faster. Take away leaves takes away from energy plant uses to grow. Thats my thinking. My lower tops i just kind of move fan leaves around to allow them to poke out to see light. I never cut them unless leaves die. Or 1st week of flower. But those are on the bottom. Lollipop.
I didn't think you were mate.I wasn't bagging on you. Your plants always look yummy. I was just wondered your thinking on the matter. Cheers.
I chop all the way through the 12/12 and through veg.Well let me ask you this. I just finally went 12/12 as of last night do you think the bud will form better if i thin alittle of the fans. Just select few. Or is it too late ?
