This was exactly 65 days since the start of flowering. Three more of the AG plants will get flushed this weekend and next weekend will be more harvesting. That leaves one more AG and the Red Dragon which look to be needing another further week at least.WOW! How many days is that? That is one frosty bitch
Thanks man - took a look and everything looks great with your plants so far too! Here's a pic of my Red Dragon plant - looks like it has a week or two left in it yet...dude, that AG looks real, real nice, good work....I am running four RD's as well, only two weeks in flower though.....looking forward to comparing to yours. check it out in my sig. Peace, Nugs
Glad you enjoyed the pics!some amazing pictures.
i am going to grow this two strains soon.
can you please tell me how tall they got and when did you put them to flower (in which height)?
would love to se a smoke report as well.
Hey man - welcome! Yep, the AG buds are really frosty and sexy! This is the Acapulco Gold that Barney's Farm released last year which they produced from gifted seeds claiming to be from the old school Acapulco Gold 'of yore'. I don't know how close this is to that classic stuff but I can say that it's a really potent, smooth, great-tasting strain, and we've only just started it's cure! I bought these seeds online through the Attitude Seed Bank. I don't have access to clones where I live, so I've actually never started from a clone.fantastic looking grow man! those nugs are gorgeous! i didnt even know Acapulco Gold was still around? where did u get the seeds from, or was it from a clone??
Ah the memories....Thanks man - these girls smell incredible. I never did try any of the old-school AG since I wasn't around back then... but comparing it's smell right now to other grows of mine, I can already tell this will be one of the best results I've had so far! The Vanilla Kush I grew this past summer was (and is) amazing, and this compares easily to the way it smelled at this point in flower. I put a few of those last pics on my photobucket account...here's a repost of one of those previous ones..nice and close up!!
Yeah man, Indica may be the cash crop but Sativa is the best buzz IMHOThe latest AG plant that was harvested was divided and put into the curing jar last night. We ended up getting exactly 28 g dry from this first plant which isn't terrible, but I still blame my pH issue early on for it's lack of performance as well as some high temps in my flowering ten which was resolved when one of the lights burned out bringing the temps down..lol...they all fit under one light anyway so it all worked out. Comparing the rest of the plants (flushed 3 more last night to be harvested this weekend) to this last one, I should get over an ounce from each one which is good - I only grow for personal use so with 6 plants we'll be good with an 'O' per plant at least until next harvest which has typically been every 3-4 months for us.
We also sampled a small amount of AG last night in a joint - wow, what a fabulous and unique taste/smell! The high is quite uplifting, but still far too early to judge - once it's had a while to cure, I'm sure we'll be more than happy with the result. I busted a few small nugs in our little Volcano grinder and even though it's still quite 'young', it broke up to be quite fine, shiny and sticky as hell... I'm telling you, this is the frostiest stuff I've grown yet - it literally 'glitters' with crystal. I'll try to get a few nug shots up later on so you can see what i mean.
Cheers!
rite on thanks....my first 2 sets of seeds came from attitude but i didnt have good luck with em, that may have been because they were autoflowering seeds and it was my first shot at growing haha...but i will drfinitely b using them again next time i order which should be soon. again the budz u got look great, wish i was in your shoes! happy growing and ill be following the rest of this!Hey man - welcome!
