Update.
I bent an allen wrench and tryed to push it up but no luck. Ive got it stuck befor when i first got the piece, after a few mins of workin it i got it out and it hasnt happened since. Only way i could get it out was twisting it, And there was no twisting this.
Also tried the needle nose pliers. the after all of the lip was broke off that was out of the question.
Ended up getting a nail and a hammer and did it the old fashion way. after a few hours, yes hours i got it out with no harm done to my bubbler. =] ima buy a new bowl tomorrow!
Wow man, you definitely got lucky I had the exact same situation with an old toro that cost me a grand, ended up doing the same thing as you and I hit the exact right place to make the bottom six trees break off and no more toro after that, fucking sucked but the bright side I got a new one that hits even better with a trashcathcer for less then the old one all together. But props man thats no easy task to do, but as I see it, its worth the risk you may save the piece you may not, but if you do at least it can hit again. I'm interested in seeing if an 18 mm bowl breaks like that if you can grind down the broken jagged glass to be even with the end of the down stem, then I'm about 90% sure a 14 mm bowl will fit in the new hole, you may need to add a little tape around the male end if its too small, but if you don't want to risk breaking your glass at all for some reason, this should be an option. If the 14 doesn't fit, just get a non glass on glass slide and add tape around a part of the stem and it will rip for sure.
EDIT: Oh yeah and VansStoner + rep for taking the time to chip it out, I got about 45 minutes into chipping out the broken toro bowl when then bottom tree broke away so I know how tedious of a task that is
