Frist timer 33 days into flowering

Okay guys this is my first attempt at a grow. Started out with a bag seed out of some very good green. Not sure when on the date I planted it but I know for sure I am 33 days into flowering. I am using some organic soil from home depot mixed with perlite and using miracle grow tomato plant food.....i know its not the best but this is a trial run!!! i vegged under 6 26w 6500k spectrum CFL. when I built my new cabinet i started flowering. the new setup has a combo of 15, 26w and 13w 6500 and 2700k CFL.......more 2700k than 6500k. Over the last week I have started to notice the tips on the leaves starting to turn yellow and brown, and by tip i mean just the very very end. I have not tested the ph, cant find a tester this time of year, I have looked at all the stores!! Not sure what the problem could be. the buds are looking very good to me but Its my first time. I am adding some pics so any help you guys could throw my way i would appreciate!! I have been reading this site for a few months now and it is very helpful!!

Looks like a little light or heat burn put a fan blowing above the plant level see if it helps. Or do nothing as the plant will most likely do just fine as it looks very strong. Good job.

That plant looks great. I wouldn't even worry about those tips, as far along as you are you will be fine.
They sell PH test strips in home depot, in the section with swimming pool supplies. They are kind of a pain, but will work in a pinch.

thanks mrboots!! I tried home depot and they said they had put it away for the season........no pools in IL this time of year!! lol

I was also wondering if I could harvest this plant and then take clones from her.....is that possible? I would like to keep this around for the mother plant!

yes it is, but you wouldn't want to stop feeding her then. New shoots will form at the leaf axials after a couple of weeks of veging light hours. The first leaves will not look at all like cannabis leaves, more like a mouse's ears, They may never resemble the original mother plant, but the high will be the same of course.
Yeah, Id say 3 weeks is about right for finishing time
In regards to the PH thing, if that's peat soil your in, the soil can get acidic natutally as it ages and breaks down. If you flush with lots of water every time you have to water that will do wonders. I'm sure that's a problem anyways though, just sayin. This is a picture of a reveged clone:

you can try it, I thought you meant you wanted to turn her into a clone mother.
if you can find a stem that's actively growing and tender it might root. Old woody stuff is a long shot.
