Cold weather is seriously stunting my seedling growth

I keep my air conditioning at 70F, but in my grow tent the temperature is usually 62-65 w/ the inline fan on. My seedling has looked the same for the last 3-4 days, and i'm assuming this is because of the low temperature. If I turn off the inline fan, the inside of the tent stays at 75F~, which is perfect.. but I want to be able to turn on the inline fan to eliminate odor/bring in fresh air..

Anything I can do to increase the temp inside my tent? :(

edit: Hows this for an idea. Instead of having my inline fan on top of the tent, put it on the floor right outside the tent? That way maybe the hot air will be recycled through the tent more.. As I understand, hot air rises, so having the inline fan on top of the tent will not really help the plants.. Would this work?

Do you have a small space heater laying around by any chance? If not, walmart and stores like that should have them in stock right now. I'd go grab a small one and set it in there on low.

isn't the inline fan gona b blowing that hot air right out? :|

Not 'right' out, you should still see a temp increase in the tent. You could also run the carbon filter as a scrubber, just cleaning the air inside the tent, and just go in there a few extra times a day to change the air. A temporary solution at least until you can figure out a way to raise the temp naturally. I'm guessing once you start flowering the heat from the more intense lighting will go a long way.

What about raising the plant closer to the light? The plant is about 2-3 feet away from it right now

...seedling heating pads.
...use the heat from your light to your advantage.
...add a heat emitting dehumidifier in your room.
...put your ballest inside your room.

Get a big water jug cut off the top and stick it over the seedling, it will raise temps and humid your seedling will love it.

I'm confused. How is the grow room staying cooler than the surrounding air? If you keeping the house at 70, inside the tent should be 70...

I have the same problem, I watched my plants do nothing for three weeks until I:
Got a nice sized grow room
put in a ceramic heater at 76 degrees.
Put in a fan on very low speed pointed at the top to circulate the air and keep it from staying hot up top and cool on the bottom.
Brought humidity up to 45 percent average.
Adjusted light to 300-500 lumens for seedlings, 700 or so for teens.
Running 24/0 plants recovering but may have stressed them hoping they don't hermie.
My other clones grew from 114 to 24" in 7 days...
My problem was light too hot and to close, heater drying out air too low humidity.

Ya i've actually done that. Created a little humidity dome around them, but they still refuse to grow.

edit: I'll try putting the ballast inside the tent. and i'll also try pointing a fan at the top of the grow tent.

By the way, where should the thermostat sensor be?
