ok, so what you're saying is to keep them where they are now, until flower? then transplant them into a better pot? is there anything else i can do to help aerate the soil? since my pots are tubaware, they arent the easiest thing to cut holes into.
can you get a hold of a drill? if not try heating up a piece of metal and burning the holes. it needs to be done. transplant before flower and allow a week or so for them to get settled.

i did a little rearranging in my box. watered them yesterday, just a small amount, misted today cuz i felt like it. humidity is good temps are good.

Badnews - i had to take yet another node of leaves on 2/3 plants. so the pics will look better then they really are i think. An one question, it seems that the lower leaves fall off, slowly moving up, but not usually for a good 3/4 nodes, could i possibly flower them and harvest a good amount(for plant size) before this little problem catches up? I know not a good way to think about it, but just curious.

If you look back at the pics from last update, the mainly yellow leaves on the 2 bigger ones, those were the ones i took off. =D

switching to flower wont help anything. keep trying to figure out the problem work at it!

alright i'm on it. I can get ahold of a drill, and hot metal, drill sounds easier. gonna be tuff. what would you recommended for those plants, how many holes and how big?

i told you in post #94

The bottom of those should have around 5- 1/2" holes to 10 - 1/4" holes. Think of the bottom of a pot.

today i was thinking of some things i could do to maybe help the problem. i tried drilling holes with no success, wont be able to work while the plants are in there. So i thought if the roots below need air, could i put straws down there? kinnda ghetto, but why wouldn't that work?

Another thing, my biggest plant has started forming lots of crystal all over, well, not LOTS but pretty noticeable, all over the plant pretty much. does that mean anything in particular?

another idea i had. Since i seem to be having a pot issue, i know my plants are very small, and not very healthy, but could i take a clone off one plant, and start it in a another, real pot?

The holes are not only for air exchange but more important water drainage! Why cant you drill holes?

Crystals all over eh? Sure its not spider mites? Take a close up of the pictures. You could take a clone but i would recommend taking clones from a healthy plant. If you cant drill holes maybe you can transplant if you are very careful.

well it's hard plastic and trying to drill with a plant inside of it is hard. I'm pretty sure my drainage is ok, once i water all the access comes right out, within a few hours i cant see any water at the bottom of the pot. so are straws worth trying out?

hope to god it's not spider mites, i haven't seen any. my camera wont be able to pick it up i dont think but i 'll try next update.

UPDATE WEEK 5 VEG

Yet again, not to much to update on, plants still look a little sick, working on pot issue, what i'v been doing seems to be working a little bit. not any male sex signs showing anywhere. All plants still seem to be having issues with leaves turning a whitish yellow, then drying out. camera couldn't pick up on the crystals forming from them. (there's not a bunch...)

my friends plant, the one in the party cup is having some trouble too, probably the same issue as the other ones, the bottom set of leaves were getting a little yellow so i picked them off. No updated pick of that plant. but seems kinnda small. I'll post a pic with it in it tho.

Questions -
still haven't had nutrients, going to water tomorrow, do you guys think i should give them some?

I'v been thinking that maybe a transplant is a good idea, atleast for one of the plants, but with these pots being so difficult, how would i even go about doing it? i see myself fucking it up hardcore.

I have some (MG i THINK) soil that my friend used, but the seed never sprouted, enough to give each plant a little, would it be a good idea to sprinkle some on top? might help add some nutrients to their diet.

thanks for the help aeviaanah and mcfonz wouldn't have made it this far without you guys.

Yo YO! Yea go ahead and give them a little bit of food, they look a little hungry. If you decide to transplant, turn pot upside down and be prepared for it to crumble and expose the roots. you want to keep it together as best as you can, two people may be able to achieve this better than one. soil will stay together when it is wet better than dry.

i might have found a small problem, i never really put my thermometer in a good spot so it always read 80, when i put it on top of the pots i got 90 degress, i know that's a little high, but could that have been the problem? i took out the lab, should reduce heat a bit.

90 is high but plants can bear it. try to get around 75.

it's down to higher 80's. i'll try to keep the heat down in my room.

just to do a quick little update, plants are still having the same problem, and idk what to do anymore, even the seedling in diffrent soil,(partycup) seems to have the same problem as the others, i dont get it.

my largest plant's new set of leaves coming in from the top have something different on them, hard to explain, when i update i'll try to take a photo.

reduced temps to 84-90, havent watered since sunday, and i'm so lost on if i'm over watering them or under, i'v heard both sides plenty, i know someone told me 2-3 cups every 4-5 days, do you still think that's a good idea?

I'm not sure what to do anymore, they seem to sick to flower anytime soon.
Would it be worth my time to keep these guys going? or should i learn from my mistakes, get a ph meter, good soil, and good nutrients?

i'd really like for these guys to pull through, this being my 1st grow and all.

so please anyone with tips, please i'm open to them.

also, i went to home depot and they didn't have that 8$ all in one meter, might have to order it offline.

in the last pic, does the top of it look any diffrent? seems to have little blades coming out. idk could be nothing

went to ace today and bought a soil ph tester, and some nutrients. 10-10-10 i'm pretty sure, it said it would be good for veg and flower so i bought it, gonna get those up and running soon.

after a large watering, plants are looking much better!

yea they are probably hungry! u should of invested in a water ph tester rather than soil ph tester.

6 weeks and a day. they are small, but looking better i'd say. I'll update with pics when i can, the ph meter read 6.5. shit, i thought soil would work just as well, they only had moisture and soil at the place i went to.
