Foilisn't as reflective as flat white paint, I wouldn't worry about it though. Yes you want the fan blowing directly on the plant so that the stems are flexing in the breeze slightly, this toughens them up. it also helps the "breathe" here's a chart for light height.Tell me why im taking the foil off and why do the walls have to be white? Thats my closet im growing in. Can fans blow directly on plants?
They also say that the crinkles in the foil will create something like a small ray of light that could focus on a spot of the plant and be too bright or burn apparently. Also could just reflect the light somewhere inefficient. More crinkles, more light going places. Reflective white is great. And apparently mylar is supposed to be the best. Too expensive for me.Tell me why im taking the foil off and why do the walls have to be white? Thats my closet im growing in. Can fans blow directly on plants? As you can tell this is my first time growing.............
completely agree! Not sure, but looks like you need more light maybe? Either way, get the foil off like previously noted. Paint flat white, or use some fairly inexpensive plastic you can get from say a farm feed store, black on one side white on the other.
Just wondering why it looks so thin. Has good close nodes but kinda skinny I think. Maybe over-watered and under-lit? Not saying I know what you're doing or anything, just outside point of view that's all.
Happy growing!!
