1st Hydro Grow ... in Japan !!!

High Everybody,

Just came back from Japan. As some of you know it’s pretty hard to get weed in Japan.
I actually stop buying weed ever since I started growing unless I am traveling. Getting a weed connection as a foreigner is not the easiest task. :?

So before going there I decided to get some seeds with me and find a way to grow once I will get there. :hump:
Things went alright, I got myself a hydroponic system the first week and then I had to figure out real quickly how it works (I have never grown in hydro before).
I had to keep the grow extra discreet since Japan considers weed equal as any other hard drug, so I bought a 65W CFL

3 weeks after my arrival, I got myself into this mission in my Japanese apartment.
I just wanted to post the whole thing to show my mistakes and the overall result. :joint:

Seeds : PPP, Nothern Lights x Big Bud, Persian Bud.

Now, I made the first mistake of planting too many seeds at the beginning and I did not know if they were females either.
But I planted more in order to get more chances of harvesting females...

Your plants look healthy, but you should give them some more light. You will be rewarded with a bigger harvest.

Since I cut the 2 final plants progressively I dont have the total weight.
The NLxBB was a good and nice smoke, it reminded me the same Nothern Lights that I smoked last year.
The Persian Bud continued to grow and gave me a lot more, it was good but heavy (indica), only good to smoke so I become a vegetable lol.

I did not (and still don't) know shit about the Ph for the water so I used to change it every week (2 weeks sometmes).

Thanks but I did not want to get busted so I only got 1 CFL in order to avoid any light leak.
Plus it was too hot last summer to add another one.

well, you are good to your word, growing in japan is worth some bragging rights
i do recall you mentioning this was your plan

I hear growing in Japan is very risky. Those cops will let you get near harvest and then book your ass. Good luck with your endeavors and make sure to keep things on the DL.
