Yea, I've heard of someone growing some pretty good buds just using soft whites. I'm not going to attempt using softwhites the whole time... but it's interesting to know that it may be possible. just going to get me some Daylight bulbs like Barbie said in the mean time.

Dude get a powerstrip and some plug sockets you don't need a "portable light" and put that shit in a closet. Its absurd to stack them all the way up to your ceiling. If your calling it your life you would do it right. And theirs now way you can pay your tuition with this shitty little grow with 3 lights you might get a 10 sack out of it that you can sell (woah man). For real bro take some of the suggestions others have given you and but some tlc into your grow and you may be able to recover this half assed grow.

Get some pics up without pics its all fiction.
Anyway hope you get something out of it dude but it aint likley.

Hey guys I was rolling a blunt while taking a dump and I dropped a seed in the toilet, it landed right on a piece of shit. I didn't flush it cause I'm a slob and this morning I had a sprout. Seriously this is gonna be my life, I'm gonna mount a led touch light to the inside of the lid and piss in there to feed it. Serious help only. Pics comming soon.

2weeks in from seed. soil. 24 hours light, then I move away from light to a dimmer spot for 20 minutes. then they get pitch black for 3-4 hours. I'm just pretty much experimenting on my 1st grow.

I didn't plan on becoming a grower. I just threw some goodgood bagseeds in my chandelier with miracle grow and I have 8 babies looking pretty sexy. using 3 normal house ceiling lights. anyways.

your light schedule sounds a lil funky. i'd suggest an 18/6 ratio especially with bag seed because fewer hours of light actually increases the chances of it becoming a female. normal light bulbs can grow some aweomse bud. i would suggest the compact florecents and to keep the plants as close to the light as you can with out developing burnt leaf edges. now of course the more bulbs the better its going to work out. and the cooler the color of the bulb the better it is for vegging and the warmer the color the bulb the better it is for flowering. one thing you want to becareful of is male plants. it can ruin a good harvest with tons of pesky seeds. just be viligant on observing your plants until you can sex them. it only takes one microscopic spec of pollen to turn your whole grow on its head. i didn't plan to become a grower ether until after realizing how simple it is to grow bud, not necisarily the dankest but dank enough, with little knowledge. i would recommend you read the Medical Marijuana Grow Bible by Jorge Cervants (spelling on his name is almosst certainly wrong but you get the drift). its basicly the dummies guide to grow weed. its a thick read but not if you focus on the section your working on ie. vegging, flowering, harvest. etc. But good luck

edit by "normal light bulbs" i mean modern day normal light bulbs ie complact florecents. incadecent light bulbs are only good for jacking up your electricity bill and heating your place in winter and producing dim dirty useless spectrum of light.

I took into account everything that everyone has said.

I just woke up and my plants were wayyyy tooo dry... they were blatantly stressed and the baby one looked like it was more stressed from transplant as it really didn't have a pretty root system going like the others. I just wet my fingers and touched all the leaves to moisten them up and put under the light. I hope they come-back well.

I haven't lost any yet. but the new basket is definitely taking up a lot more light and heat, which is a good and a bad as it saves electricity to not use the heater as often. and yeah. I'm working with a crazy light schedule... I'm not using normal days as a light timer. they are new to the world. I'm going to try to slightly alter their instincts with a different light schedule. that's pretty much the only thing I'm doing different. I can't wait to see how they do in a couple more hours under the light. this is stressful... it's like seeing someone you love get really sad.

negative comments are slowly dying as they seem to be giving up on trying to harass. but a few are stalking me in other threads but I'm still shutting them down everytime they talk so it's pretty easy maintenance... much easier than spider mites.

i would suggest using less hours of light. this promotes the plants becoming female more than male. dont wanna wast your time and get all male plants. with 10 bag seed and 18/6 light schedule i usually get atleast 6 females and have gotten as many as 9 before.

If the plants are looking weak. should I still leave them in the dark? They seem to be more vital during their day hours

lol i can tell your new, but thats ok. when it gets dark the plants will always droop. its just what they do. if im not mistaken i think its because they aren't trying to reach out for the light anymore. just like how a plant leans towards the light. same concept. the plants need the darkness though. thats when it converts the light energy it gathered in the day into energy.

lol, thank you. I'm going to add more soil to probably an inch below the cotyledons to ensure stability.
