Kinda late to the party here, but just got my hand on a bunch of their products. Seems to be great stuff, hearing some good things at the local hydro shop. Plan on using azos, mykos, and calcarb on next round. Will keep you posted! :)

I'm skeptical. From the website:

"CO2, is a revolutionary calcium carbonate foliar spray proprietarily-derived from a natural occurring compound.

C02 utilizes a new form of nanotechnology which processes the compound to such a fine size that it is able to permeate the foliage of plants. Once inside the cell walls, CO2 is released as both calcium and usable carbon dioxide, increasing photosynthesis levels three-fold."

After reading that my BS detector is beeping. My opinion, stick with a brand with a good reputation like Fox Farms or Advanced Nutrients.

Not sure about the CO2 product, but their Mykos is great stuff. Worked FAR better than Great White and costs a fraction as much.

"Fox Farm", "Advanced Nutrients" and "good reputation" don't even belong in the same sentence. They both make some of the crappiest, overpriced products one can buy. Fox Farm has no quality control to speak of, and all AN ever does is re-label existing ag products and charge people a bazillion dollars for it.

A little update here from my own experience having used the mykos, azos, calcarb and the mykos 30 which is ammended with an organic 6-4-4 fertilizer. Ive begun the regimen during the last crop from clones as well as a few planted starters while maintaining the same nutrient regimen, and same lighting as my last grow. My growing medium is a 75-25 coco perilite mixture. Unfortunately I did not have the luxury of setting aside a control plant, so anything I report is subject to opinion and a potential bias, and is not truly scientific.

With that said, my results are astonishing. I truly can not begin to express how impressed I am with these products. The vigor, rate, and type of growth I'm seeing is almost unreal. My clones increased their size and leaf mass approximately 400% in the first 6 days or so following transplant. At the 10 day mark, the clones are producing fan leaves that are larger in size than starter plants that were cloned from a local club 6 weeks prior. These results are not scientifically controlled as I stated, but they have made me a believer overnight. I will attempt to setup an experiment with several clones from the same mother with a control group and variable group, but I'll need to get some extra space and time to do so. I"m in no way connected or affiliated with this company, but I feel that any product this powerful should be shared with this forum, considering how helpful this community has been for me. If you are on the fence or curious, go grab some of their products. They last a long time for the price, and appear to be worth their weight in gold.

I wish to buy into their products as well but I am worried about the plants getting too much nitrogen between whats in the soil that the mykos makes it easier to get, what the Azos pulls out of the air, and any N in applied nutes. What do you feel the chances are that one could overload their marijuana plants with nitrogen and calcium (from the Calcarb)? How often do you think one should apply Calcarb?

Its certainly a valid concern jdizzle22. I just started out with a light version of my GH nutrient solution, especially watching the amount of Nitrogen in the "grow" formula. The azos and mykos allows for easier uptake of your nutes, reduces the plants energy expenditure on nute mining as I understand it. It should save some money on nutes, but as long as you start slow I don't think you'll have an increased chance of getting nutrient burn. As for the calcium, I still use a calmag supplement for my normal feeding. The calcarb spray seems to sit on the leaves and increase the local CO2 levels and Calcium oxide which increases the strength of the plant cellular walls. Directions advise using the spray once every two weeks, which is what I have done. I'm not sure how much it would take to overload the plant, but I have not seen negative effects from following the recommended dose of the calcarb spray. I hope this helps, and I truly can't tell you how big of a fan of these supplements I have become. I would advise any grower reading this to give these products a shot, they're a mainstay in my cabinet from here on out.

I'm by far an expert, (first grow) but from what I understand and what I've been told... The plant will will only use the N that it needs. I just picked up some azos from the local indoor gardening store and am going to try it. I've talked to 2 different highly experienced growers that swear by it and the guy at the gardening store said it's the best product in his store. Here is my situation and the application I am using azos.....

I use the complete fox farms trio.. Big bloom, grow big, &tiger bloom. They are great nutes, but a little hot (not big bloom). I don't like to give to much grow big early in growth(starting from seed) because I'm afraid of nute burn and I also don't like to veg long. So by the time I feel comfortable with giving them grow big, I am almost ready to start flowering, and use tiger bloom. On my current grow I starting seeing some yellowing of the leaves. My PH is 6.5, I feed every other watering with full strength big bloom and tiger bloom. My temps run around 80 and humidity around 50%, and I inject co2 from a bottle with a monitor/controller maintaining between 1100-1500 ppm. The only reason I can figure for the yellow leaves are because of lack of nitrogen. Plants store nitrogen early on and use it later. I'm thinking because I only used grow big for a week or two I robbed them of nitrogen. I am currently on week eight of flowering and have 2 week old seedlings that I will soon transplant, veg for two more weeks before putting in the flowering room. I was told if I sprinkle a tsp. Of Azos in the hole before I insert the transplant it will give the plants as much nitrogen as they need for the remainder of the grow, and will "work wonders" I will keep you posted!

I read that too, and I can't help but feel skeptical. I have reduced my nutrient strength during vegging from my standard formula, but not by half to three quarters. The most noticeable thing that I have seen in my current grow using azos mykos and cal carb is this; the size of the stalk and lower stem is drastically larger than anything I've seen before in previous grows. Plants that have been in flower for three weeks have thicker and larger trunks than the same plants that I harvested after ten weeks, and even with an additional two weeks of veg time in the previous grow. These products seem to be contributing to the most intense and vigorous growth I've ever witnessed. I've got to do some tests and experiments to scientifically confirm, but my instincts are telling me that these are the most beneficial additions I've ever made to my nutrient arsenal.

Hello Arcadia Absent,I'm having a mental midget brainstorm on which to apply first? Mycos,then Azos?I can't help but think one of the two,dusts the Root Ball,then do same with Azos.Didyou by chance,use Mycos at all?Iunderstand,water &Azos are mixed,then shaken&the liquid is placed as specified.xtreme company is down for 2wks. THANKYOU for anyleads,that should be applied to these honking mom's,w/Mycos & Azos? kcheetah 10:48p PST

Seems to be great stuff, hearing some good things at the local hydro shop. Plan on using azos, mykos, and calcarb on next round. Will keep you posted!

I just sprinkle alil myco's and azos each time I transplant haven't tried the calcarb yet I'm planning to soon. I don't think u can over do mycos I use 3 brands of mycos extreme gardening, rooters, and organism xl good results so far

try using the azos to cut your clones. it`s good shit
one thing that is important to note with azos is it is great for early stages cloning vegging germination. however, you dont want to keep adding it , never add it during budding for example, as you will end up with very green weed.

the mykos can be added during all stages prior to flushing.

you can get a big box of microbes for free from RTI if you get ahold of them and ask to test it out. the box they sent me was huuge

From what I understand, Azotobacter and other nitrogen fixing microbes flourish in alkaline soils - specifically between the range of 7.5 and 8. That being said, they still function down to about pH 5.5, but they are mostly active in alkaline soils. Therefore, if you are using Azotobacter in your soil try to keep your pH at 6.5 or higher - the lower it is, the less nitrogen you get, the more pointless Azos becomes.

Personally, I don't think there is any need for nitrogen-fixing microbes when growing cannabis...if you really need nitrogen fixation, plant some crimson clover in your pots :bigjoint:

I recently used azos for cloning on day 5 seeing some yellowing which is typical with clonex too. I used tap water, no ph and the directions on the back. Also used at 1tbsp per gal of water for my transplants n not seeing anything special. Although I am a BIG BIG fan of the MYKOS!!!
