i have an issue.

i have not one but two temp humidity guages in my room...one's digital. digital humidity says 34% and the other says 55-60%. this is a problem that i could probably solve by not being cheap and buying the better of the two...but i am wondering if i could trust one more than the other? what do you think..?

Take both of them and put them outside on a day when you can determine the correct humidity. weatherunderground.com or other sites should be able to provide data close enough. Use the one closest to the correct humidity. I got so sick of digital I ordered some analog ones recently

Good advice! And do you keep these gauges in the exact same spot? In the winter when you might have to create man made humidity, it can be very different from spot to spot within your room.

I have a sealed room, creating humidity is never a problem.
