the usa used to be a more compassionate place to live...somewhere along way it became all about me me me...I personally think it would be nice for people not to have worry about their healthcare...I had to take my son to the E.R. to get 12 stitches in his arm...it took us 6yrs and cost $1500. there is no reason 12 stitches should cost that much...

Exactly, for simple things like stitches it would be free, hell you could mangle your fingers in my country and they will fix it free... no waiting times. Emergencies are treated and managed very well in my country.

I honestly don't see the big deal apart from the fact that people may have to pay a little more money in taxes. Big deal, i'm sure the extra dollar or, god forbid, $2 would break the bank.

Look at how much of your tax money is wasted on the war on drugs, armaments... yet there not enough public hospitals? I find this disgusting in the modern age. I never imagined it, the whole concept of not having a NHS seems very alien to me.

Actually i didn't call you a moron, moron. I also didn't call you all nazis, not unless you actually work for the health companies. Then of course you're a nazi.

Freedoms? So by us having a NHS, we are actually relinquishing freedoms?

This world is desending into chaos... I used to want chaos, thought that it was an eventuality anyway. But now as I get older I realise that a more peaceful world is the right way to go. A world where we actually care about each other. So what if it costs an extra dollar a week to help these people that are 'lucky enough to be born an American.'

In my country when you pay for private care there is no waiting time. There is a little waiting time on the NHS but at least the care is there. People are not refused help when they need it the most.

No matter how much you shout and scream, the people in that film were real. Now I have no real political leanings. I like the fact that I can make money and lead a comfortable life, I'm also very competitive. To think that it is right to label me as a commie just because I feel that we should help our fellow man more is a very naive judgement. I'd go so far as to say a brainwashed view... so yes, I suppose I did call you a brainwashed nazi...
Your a fucking idiot.

Not to mention the trillions we spend on "The War On Terror"

Why can't we just fire up the 'ole $100 bill press again and line the healthcare providers pockets like we do the "terrorists" so they don't bomb us overseas?

I cannot believe how money oriented your Government really is.

Little kids are left to die.

Wow, you guys are suckers.

I like to hold my own life in my own hands.:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

The US seems more like Nazi Germany to me.

we just follow like sheep?
Obviously this doesn't apply to every single american, but it certainly does speak for the majority.

If not all (please take this as a generalisation) americans are sheep then how is that we can be in the 21st century and the US be so behind the rest of the world?

Causing wars to rob poor countries and make them even poorer.

Obviously the US are not entirely to blame but as the superpower they should feel responsible. ??????????

Just from the first page. I rest my case. Your a fucking blithering idiot. I might actually have to start telling you that on your trich posts too, because you are and it would be easy to prove. Loser.

So our free health care is because the UK government are fascists?

ha ha ha ha ha ha

Come on Vi'. You don't mind that the country you love so much has almost as high a infant fatality rate as Lithuania. Doubtless if I lived in your country my oldest son would most likely be dead. He was born 3 months premature, had to stay in the excellent hospital for nigh on 3 months till he weighed enough to be brought home.

The US seems more like Nazi Germany to me. You mean nothing to your country... and one day your country will fall. Greed and corruption will kill it.

History of Prematurity in the Early 1900's

You owe your sons life to the US of A. And I'm not talking about WW2, although that would also qualify.

Until I die............

I'd really enjoy you coming into the trichome thread and stating your opinion. Although if these last few posts are anything to go by I doubt that you'll have anything of substance to add.

All you've been able to state in this thread, is, that America sucks, America sucks, America has no power, America is the only superpower, America sucks. And you talk of substance?

michael moore did not give the whole picture to american lifestyle. He still lives in the states doesnt he? the thing that some of us in the health care field don't like about socialized medicine is that it limits the doctor's income. I beleive the one doc they interviewed in the movie only made 90K pounds. Which isnt alot for the amount of education he has
