I see, so with this already being so dry, I don't see me loosing more than another 20-25 percent of weight. Awesome.

I've gotta hand it to you man, I kinda got bashful when you said that I might get a qp from this one plant... I'm still dumbfounded by the numbers I'm seeing as of now, I know it's gonna loose some weight over the next few weeks but wtf, over 10 ounces from one plant?!? I don't care if I have to wait 6 months next time, these type of beans will get cracked again I guarantee you that, I am so excited to know more about such a unique strain of cannabis, next time I will approach it from such a different angle. Two years of prep work and still, nothing beats the learning experience of just going to town...

Here is another little follow up on finals of this grow. Actual final weight won't even be calculateable due to me smoking some while growing it and continuing to smoke over the last month... it's safe to say that I got a pound from this one plant... I had weighed in 13.8 ounces and had another two ounces to trim and I know I smoked no less then a quarter ounce while the plant was still growing... safe to say 1 pound.
Now to follow up on the smoke/smell report, the plants had some time to cure and I have something to add that I've noticed.
This plant smells funky. And when I say funky I mean that it smells strange. For example, as it was curing I'd always open the first few jars right under my nose to see what would escape... the first time I tried this I was bewildered and confused. I even went so far as to dump out the jar completely and proceed to give it a smell test while empty because I thought that there must be something funky in my jars creating that smell. Low and behold, what I was smelling was nothing but the plant and just the plant. It's hard to describe but I'll try; it's kinda like you just opened up a box of washing detergent and got a big whiff of it. It kinda smells soapy in a way, like a air freshener of the 'fresh scent' variety. Very bizarre, but thats what has emerged from this Thai Super Skunk. I can't even honestly say that I think it smells really good, it's not what you would expect from looking at it at all.... for instance, if this stuff was just something I'd happened upon, and the guy showing it to me said that it was smuggled in a box of dish washing soap, I'd have bought it hook line and sinker, cause that's what it totally smells like. Now, when you begin to break it up it emits a completely different and more expected kind of skunky funky smell, quite pleasant as a matter of fact. The smoke is slightly harsh still just by nature, it is getting well cured and still has a harsh edge to it, perhaps the cure is akin to the grow and takes forever as well. I don't know. Maybe by the end of it I'll have a better idea. The high is very heady and up, fairly strong but not a one hit quitter by any means, I find myself smoking two small bowls consisting of 2-3 hits each and getting a nice high for a few hours, the onset of true munchies doesn't occur unless you smoke a little more and then after some time you find yourself beginning to crave food. This is a great day time high, not sluggish at all. Visually it's no show stopper but it does have a nice light fluffy homegrown bag appeal to it, the bags appear fuller just because of the fluffy nature of this gal. Questions are welcome.
Next up a fast finisher, going to the other end of the spectrum for the next one, I'll update later with a link to the new grow... I'm excited to try this again with a little more exp under my belt.

Time to come clean RIU. This grows weight has bothered me since I took it 6 or so months ago, and tonight I figured out why. Lids.
No, I don't mean what you used to call an ounce or so of pot back in 1976, I mean Ball canning jar wide mouth lids.
I totally forgot to account for the weight of the lids back when I measured everything when I was finishing up curing. That means that my final weight was off about 6 1/2 ounces.
I grew about 10-11 ounces instead of 16-17. Considering it was with one 400 watt light I still think I didn't do too bad, all things considered. (considering I'm about to smoke a full bowl in this puppyView attachment 1455198 of some weed that's gonna make me have to clean it sooner then I'd like...)
