looks fine.
that and the very dark purple stem, lookin too dark IMO, deficiency? Hmm. New growth is mutant like, I'll get some better pics up. Will drop the PH a little thanks. If it is, don't even sweat it. Drop your ph down to 5.5 though maybe even a little under to see if that helps.
Good call, could be, but that means they are surviving pesticide( Scotts brand BUG-B-GONE )...little bastards! what now? keep sprayin i guess. I also use Hot Shot No Pest Strip too.are those thrips, on the fan leaves? look really really close...... especially @ that top leaf.
Thanks alot my friend. I will try rinsing all the residue off them and watch my runoff closely although HP Promix is considered hydroponics and 5.6-5.9 should be golden, in my past experience, nonetheless I will try to keep it up around 6. all around. Makes sense with all the spraying I've been doing haha, what you said about funny growth due to blocked stomata....DOH I never thought of that. I will be on this tonight and time will tell if there's improvement.I had mutant new growth and posted a thread but got nothing, so took my pics too grow shop and I was told it was probably due to spraying them. I used neeem oil, but all sprays will coat the leaf and can suffocate them leading to deformed stunted growth, try spraying them with ph'd water to rinse any residue off. Also, with my PK alot of the new growth looked funny as it first sprouted, i kept trying to correct it thinking it was a deficiancy only to find they would look great in 3-5 days so have come to realise thats how mine grow. Also with promix hp check your ph runoff. I've found with both sunny#4 and promix hp that I have to keep ph going in a little high, 6.5-6.8 so that the runoff stays above 6. If ph going in is low 6 then I end up with runoff of 5.6-5.9 a little low for soil. Hope that helps.
Sorta but not woody, like twice the firmness of a regular stem and harder to bend.Yeah 5 is quite low, so it could cause some lockout. The purple stems can be 2 things, genetics or (p) deficiency, but you are right, it don't look like a genetic healthy purple. They look like they may be a little woody too. Are they brittle?
thanks for the chart Brownie, I hear HP Promix is considered hydroponic and therefore must kept lower around 5.8-6.1 which I had it at, tested the trickle out the bottom. So I don't get why the lockout. My temps went from 55 to 85ish for a week, maybe that has anything to do with it. I'll bring the ph up to 6.5 for the next feeding and see I guessView attachment 1333654Bring your PH up to 6.5 all around for soil grows. You've got what looks like to be some knockout, I mean lockout. =D
I don't see bugs an an issue here or it would be more spotty and not so stem-onward orientated.
