Health Care

That's how it works in my country.

I realise my comments may have all too easily been misconstrued, but I was speaking figuratively. Obviously the majority of US citizens believe it is fine to let people die because they can't afford health care... obviously, if the majority of US citizens actually believe this is ok, then I am going to assume that the majority have been brainwashed.

I agree, my words could, if one so chose, be misinterpreted... however i believe most on these boeards are intelligent enough to realise exactly what I meant without my having to go into detail. However, there is always one...

.........willing to confront my bullshit statements for what they are. Nonsensical, whimsical, bullshit.

This is it... all the points are ignored. Compassion overrode by greed.

I am not political but I am a human, and when something doesn't sit right I will say so.

Look at all the new jobs it would create, private health care would need to be cheaper too, just to compete.

Private practices, clinics do very well in my country. My country is not poor, nor socialistic... i believe we invented the very essence of 'greed'.

I don't see serfdom, well I do... if I look at things in a certain way... but that is a generalisation and nothing to do with health care.

To put a price on someone's life is not right. It is our DUTY to help.

"It is our DUTY to help."

Dictated by whom and at whose expense?

Do you honestly believe that you were put here on this earth to be nothing more than a milk-cow, equiped with teats, for others to suck off of under the control of the State?

Here is my question:

Why is this so?

Health care in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I mean, we are the richest and most powerful nation in the world...why the hell can't we have free health care like everybody else?

I tried to find a chart showing where we rank in the world, but could not. According to "Sicko" we are ranked like 83rd or something just above Lithuania. Is this true, and if so who calculates this? Surely there is something that can be done......:-?

Anyone?

A milk cow? lol. If you only knew how hard that just made me laugh. Very dramatic... lol.

I'd feel better knowing that I've helped someone.

Can you in clear conscious honestly believe that I, and other's who think as I do, that human beings are above the status of mere cattle, are "non-compassionate, greedy and brainwashed?" I submit to you that it is YOU who are the greedy ones. You are in search of the unearned. What you really want is something for nothing. You, and those who think like you are nothing but thieves, in search of victims who's pockets you can pick "FOR THE COMMON GOOD," using the force of the State to obtain your unearned loot. Go try to convince a dupe, a rube, or just someone who's just plain stupid or devoid of a historical basis that socialism never works ... and leads to slavery every time its been tried.

What's Wrong with America's Health Care

hahahahahahaha:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen: The AFLCIO???:mrgreen: A federation of 55 national and international labor unions!!! Hilarious.

The health care market is killing us - Roanoke.com (14 hours ago)

Excerpt from story........
"That option scares me, too. I've worked with the Veterans Administration. Inefficiency, red tape and rationing of care rule the day. It smacks of Great Britain, where a program is in place to reduce delays in treatment to 18 weeks. The Brits ranked second to last in the Commonwealth Fund study."

Did you even read this?? It says the worst option is socialized medicine. You didn't read it.

Salt Lake Tribune - Health care weighs on voters (today)

Health care weighs on voters
As crisis deepens, Democratic, GOP hopefuls tackle plans

You obviously didn't read this one either. It's the election, stupid.

Looks like health is a big issue in the US. I wonder why?
Why is it a big issue to you is the question? What do you have to gain from Americans socializing health care. More international assistance from The Great Satan once we've been reduced to Socialism. It's not gonna happen, because by the time we're socialized, we'll be serfs, like your becoming.

Well that's great ... and I'd be the very first to compliment you on helping someone as well. Just don't try to dictate to me, using the force of the State, that I also MUST help someone. Doing so is not compassion at all ... it is slavery.

I'm not dictating, I'm stating a moral stance. You're a very confused individual Vi... very politico, and therefore you have a one track mind (in this respect, i feel i must add). I have no political leanings, I just believe in doing what is right.

I see no slavery in my country that isn't in yours, nor do I see any in the rest of Europe or Canada.

A health care system is not socialism... that's like saying the fire service is socialism and a desent into slavery too.

Should you have to pay for the misfortune of fire too?
