Lets say i or someone wanted to make a smaller grow a bit bigger.. Instead of adding One larger light im thinking of adding two 250W lights and reflecters...
A FEW FACTS
The tent would be 3x3x7 feet... DR100 Dark room Jaden...
EasyCool 6 Reflectors will be used.. TWO i am thinking...
here is some info..
The EasyCool 6 is a mid-sized reflector with MAXIMUM performance. The EasyCool 6 features built in 6” cooling flanges, an innovative hinged and gasketed tempered glass lens, and an ADJUSTABLE (up and down) socket bracket. The reflective insert is high efficiency 95% reflective textured aluminum. The heavy duty housing features sturdy steel construction and a durable white finish.
These are sealed with a peice of glass as it says above so this would be an inclosed system... Something like this excuse my non paint skills...
....Woops forgot to add that the grey lines are 6" venting... Anyway i would use a two to one Y splitter for both sides and push it out and away from the grow area...
Once again ill be useing two Pretty large reflecters that will make huge light coverage and also two points of light... Does this sound like a good idea?? So far during trials the light stayed totally cool up to 1 inch from the glass.. the lights could be kept way down near the plants and the canopy is kept even to utilize this coolness.. Currently a small inline 6" fan moves air through and another one supports it at the other end... This works great with one reflecter and light..
I have just a few questions
1. Is this a good idea and would it be comparable or even better then a single 600W Light in the same reflecter?... This would be done with great care put into keeping the canopy level...
2. What type of fan.... CFM wise would be needed to keep this enclosed system cool moving air through two air sealed 6" reflecters.. Square...next to eachother hooked up with venting with a Y connecter on either side and venting to move hot air away...
3. Can anyone suggest a better idea?? an alternative might be a 600Wer.. Temperatures are stable at around 72 degrees year round.. so far avg temp 75 day 65 night...this leads me to believe more light can be used.. this is ovbiously the limiting factor being experienced.. that and c02...
Thanks for your patience and rep plus for help...
Sorry this is so long but im finally finished...
