Hi all! I'm currently growing 1 bubblelcious and was wondering if I could get some assistance on how much time should be left until harvest. Thank you in advance for the help. Now on to some pics.
Do you have to break a piece of leaf off to view it? I could never get that thing focused...i like the 60x to 100x handheld microscope from radioshack.com to check out the trics.. it takes a lil getting used to using at first, but for the money i find it the best thing to use to get a good idea of your trics..
they look nice to me as well..
I have been using the same one for about 5 years now. It goes through 2 sets of batteries per year. It took some getting used to but I love it. The best way is to get the scope close to the bud at full magnification and then focus the scope. Once zoned in you can move from spot to spot checking ripeness on the fly. It is only a matter of moving the scope in and out to see different depths in the field of view. I also have a jewelers loop that I never even use anymore. This is a great product and I am thrilled with the performance. Radio Shack has it going on with this one.i like the 60x to 100x handheld microscope from radioshack.com to check out the trics.. it takes a lil getting used to using at first, but for the money i find it the best thing to use to get a good idea of your trics..

I do know all this and have my own jewellers loop. I am just unsure and was hoping for a 1-2 week response so I can gauge when to harvest. Thanks again.they look very pretty.
The way to know is the color of the trichromes. Clear/cloudy make for an energetic high, amber make for more body/couchlock high.
You can see the trichromes clearly with a 30X or greater magnification. You can buy a 30X jewellers loupe on the internet for less than $3.00 and probably find free shipping.
Without that, I would say that you are pretty close.
Well, if you would have indicated your observations of the color of the trichromes in the first post it would have been helpful. Are they all clear or have they started turning cloudy?I do know all this and have my own jewellers loop. I am just unsure and was hoping for a 1-2 week response so I can gauge when to harvest. Thanks again.
I would say that you dont have 2 more weeks left so you can begin flushing. They have been cloudy for 2 weeks with maybe 1-2 per leaf with very light amber in the head. I'm asking how much longer because I've seen no change for an entire week. Maybe 15% clear 83% cloudy and 2% amber.
congratulations, go and get the clippers its harvest day!!!Thanks. I actually practice 1 week flushing. I'm going to give her a big blast today and top off with PHed RO water till finish. I run an ebb and flow. Got no chemical taste after flushing this way for my first harvest. So were looking at a little of a late Christmas present Eh? Or you think opening her on Christmas could be the right time.
As a side note up until two days ago she smelled strong of pink grapefruit. Now she smells lightly of grapefruit and a strong pink bubblegum sent. 2 bottom leaves are turning purple as well should I cool it down some to try and purple her up more or will that affect her in a negative way?
