99cent tupperware
air stone
pump
and those little foam letters from walmart.

made a rootone solution and mixed it into the water, one of the clones look healthy and the rest look like shit.

of course the one that looks healthy its stem is deeper inside the container, added more water...

am i good?

btw only had the clones in there for about 24 hrs and i also have a humidity dome on top of em, also misting about 4 times a day and they are a foot away from my white widow mother and 3 daylight 26 watt cfls.

clones look horrible except for that one..
any advice is appreciated.

You could try these things:

-Get a bigger air stone that bubbles a bigger area in the container.
-Go 24/7 with the lights.
-Only dome them half the day.
-Temps? Might need to keep them a bit warmer using a heating pad if they are lower than 75f.

got a huge air stone that fits the whole container need help securing it down to the bottom tho cuz it always floats up and i dont wanna glue it so that a bunch of toxins get in my precious dwc water...

lights are on 24/7
i heard i need to have the dome on all the time because the leafs need to be real wet?

and i got the whole container wrapped in a blanket
1)for light
2)for temps

will try and get a heat pad tho

thx for the advice! +rep

^^^ No problem, I've had the exact same problems before and that's what made mine snap out of it. Also if you switch up misting the medium they are in and the leaves every other time it forces them to try and drink from their butts and form roots instead of getting all the water they need from the leaves all the time. (Got that advice here on RIU and it totally makes sense.) Peace! =)

Tie fishing weights with fish line around your air stone ..

They shouldnt be real wet but inside the dome should be very humid. I was always taught to once a day mist the dome lid inside but not the plants.. Plus most growing dome lids have exhaust/intake holes in them ..

18/6 light cycle worked best for my clones, Ive read that roots grow faster when they have a dark period.... IME this is true, as My clones didnt do shit on 24/7. I switched them to 18/6 and within three days I had roots .

I also dont use a bubble cloner. I use a simple propogation tray with a lid dip the clones in rooting gel, then stick them in a rapid rooter plug. I cant say I water twice or three times a day. hell I dont even water them daily. I check them daily to make sure the rooter plug is still moist. when it starts to dry up, I water them. clones root in a matter of days this way. usually 3-4.

I diyed a bubble cloner and tried to use it. it was built well, no light leaks, plenty of air... but I couldnt get shit to live in there. (KISS) keep it simple stupid.

quit the misting, the dome is enough to raise humidity. tie your airstones with a small clean rock and in few days you could remove the dome altogether

alright for sure and as far as the dome goes its not an actual humidity dome its more of an opaque dome shaped tupperware bowl.

is that cool?

Hey ! I mist my domes I dont mist the plant I just mist the inside walls of the dome top... But when I do they have those circular vents on the top I open those up..

yo man i forgot about this post completely lol.

I actually just checked them TODAY lol honestly and most of them had roots popping out but not where i cut them...

like at spots where i cut some stems off so i could have more than 1 inch inside the cloner.

I planted 2 of the 6 that had (cut two more a few weeks ago) in little seed germing soil so they can max out their roots and then ima prob just stick them in nice 5 gallon tubs =]

btw my White Widow (hopefully mother) has a few white pistils showing but im not sure if they are pistils or not...
Just hoping its a girl and all plus i have a bad camera phone lol.

she's been vegging for about a month now..
is it possible to determine sex in that amount of time? and still in veg?

thx
