no micro but i have tried sippin syrup and drank lol that stuff knocks me out.
so guys just a lil something to throw out there. ive got a bottle of vodka that i have been putting all my stems in for a year now lol. its green. hopefully it will taste like ganjas haha..thoughts on this?
also if yall havent tried it yet....shiner cheer is the shit. downed a 12 pack tonight at the parents christmas parts.

Mm, I'm not sure I'd call it a tincture unless he reduces it. Out of a full bottle prepared without heat, chances are a dose is something like a full shot of the stuff. It could probably be reduced and concentrated in a double boiler for smaller dosages though!

I would add some sugar leaves from your next harvest, then wait a month and strain. You could strain it, then double boil it. That would let you concentrate it. What happens when you boil alcohol (170's) it speeds up the maceration of the cannibinoid's release. It means instead of waiting a month or more, only a week.
I think you want to make it more potent, so dbl. boiling would let you remove the % of it's alcohol. If the stems have been in there months they have released all they will.
As far as I know the heat releases the THC., etc to the alcohol or oil. The heat from burning it, or vaporizing releases it to air. Some Marge rambling from a bowl of her, but I hope that makes sense.

yeah man that makes perfect sense. i jut had a shot...deff tasted weed but it wasn't a great tasting shot lol i will try heating some up tomorrow and let yall know how it goes. i could put some trimmings fromt he blueberry harvest in there. i can't wait til tis done dryin i think 2ish more days maybe
Here's what I've done in my research. THC dissolves very quickly in many common solvents including alcohol, acetone and butane without the addition of heat. In fact when making honey oil with butane, the release of butane brings the temp of the weed down well below 0*F and in fact evaporates so fast that the weed comes out "freeze dried" at the end of the extraction.
The issue when using alcohol (91% from CVS) is that chlorophyll is also highly soluble so many hash oils made from alcohol are a dark green or black tarish looking (at least mine does) so I only let my weed sit in the alcohol for no more than a minute before I strain it through a coffee filter. I do this twice and I get a much more golden green color. I also leave the the weed in the freezer at least over night to reduce the solubility of the chlorophyll (I think I read that on another site).
I believe that THC activates at 170* F (at this point it will make you high in almost any form of consumption). The optimal temperature for vaporization is around 350* which is well below the 450* combustion level of plant material.
I use a vaporizer for 90* of my consumption. I currently have around 2 oz. of "spent" weed that I plan on turning into hash oil. I can either smoke the oil, re-disolve it into any liquor (haven't tried it). I've also dissolved the oil into melted butter and baked several goodies. It works pretty well.
Sorry for the ramble but this God's Gift sativa hybrid I'm on makes me just ramble about shit! Typing at > 100wpm also helps too.
