cloning one week into flower.

Can I take a clone from a plant that has been in flower for 7 days? It hasn't budded yet, but I did give it bushmaster. Will the clone take forever to root under these circumstances?

Cool, I took one during veg that didn't make it, so I want another chance to keep this girl around(sensi star).

Yes you most certainly can i actually read a instructional manual about topping and super cropping ECT....but anyways what it said is that a flowering clone while slightly harder to root has the possibility of growing a fantastic amount of shoots such as 5 or more

i never had a problem rooting a clone from flower plants like others said
not that it is problematic just the plant is having to use the stored energy on 2 fronts to grow buds and root but apparently when it finally does root its like bodybuilding and it shoots up but again this is taking a clone with a bud on it

During the first 2 weeks in 12/12 they actually root faster, due to cllular differences in the stretching tissue. Works for me!

I take clones up till harvest, and even after harvest if I can't salvage a good plant. I have about a 90% success rate with late flowering clones. It does take a little longer to root so don't get impatient and toss them out after a week.

I know this question might be debatable, but is a clone with a thicker stem better than a thinner one? Like should I take a branch off the main stem or a one of the secondary shoots that are big enough.?

Well I took two cutting off my s.star, and one off each plant I have in veg. Still. So now I have 5 clones of various sizes, two if which came off the plant already in flower. Ill see which ones roots first.
