also my very bottom leafs are getting yellow and spotty, only the two bettom ones on each plant
Some pics would be helpful.
bekindbud im gunna need ya to answer this one cuz im actually wondering the same thing i figured it is important to test both water and soil ph im curious with the chart you gave me is that the water or the soil that should be 6.5 and if it is for the soil what should the water be vise versa
Here is how I test my soil and water. I water and feed my plant using "Making It Rain" That means I basically flush my plant everytime I have to feed them Nutes. If my plants container = 1 gallon then I will use 3 gallons to flush my soil and I make sure the water is pH'd to
5.8. That is
VERY IMPORTANT to have 3 gallons of water at
5.8. When you start to pour the water in your plants container have something on the bottom to catch the run-off water coming out your drain holes of the container. Test that and it will tell you were your soil's pH level is at
(thats how I test my soil pH or stick probe directly in the drain holes to test too). Now after you flush your plant with the 3 gallons of
5.8pH water your soil will have nothing in it as far as salts and nutes. Last but not least take 1 gallon of water and mix your nutes. Test the water after your nutes are in it and make sure that reads
6.5pH. The reason you want that to be
6.5pH is to make all the nutes and micro nutes available to your plant. Now you will probably freak out cause you are going to see your plant become droopy as fuck! Thats ok and thats what you want! Now I do this about 1 hour after the lights come on in my tent. By the next day your plant will be perky as fuck and will be sucking up all those nutes you fed it. Make sure you keep your temps in your grow around 74F-78F. Before doing it I highly recommend you fully understand it before you try it. You need to make sure you have real good drainage in your soil. It works like a charm and i will never water any other way then "Making It Rain". Here is an example of what I am talking about: the pic on the left is Baby Lou droopy as fuck and the pic on the right is the next day. Perky and has a fresh feeding of nutes. the Proof is in the Perk!!! LOL If you still dont understand I can give you the link of Riddleme who is the guru of Making It Rain.
Can I stick the digital one in the soil and the nute water and it will tell me
As long as it has a probe to stick in the soil and water.
