CFL sockets

I dont have 5-8 unused lamps lying around nor do I have the money to buy 5-8 lamps. So my question is what is the easiest thing to buy socket wise that will allow for an easy setup? and after all the sockets/bulbs are purchased is it really all that cost effective? my local hydro store sell hps/mh light packages for 120$.

I dont understand how i would hang 5-8 cfls in my closet easily. Do i just drape the cords over the bar where hangars would usually go? If anyone has some pics of an easy CFL light setup that would be awesome.

You can get like a long power strip and then get the y sockets or single sockets and just connect the cfl right to the powerstrip, check out my grow journal in my sig if you want a picture or an example of what i mean.

EDIT: They only cost 50 cents to a dollar most likely.

For real Show some Ingenuity And Design A Light Majig, That Can Teleport Particles Into Outer Space. Or Just Stack A Buck Of Books up To a Ceiling Fan.... I've Seen It.....

Ahhhh ok i see, and those socket things can be purchased at a regular hardware store? I also remembered I have one of those crazy bendy lamps that has like 5 huge bendy rods, im sure that would work excellently.

Yeah lowes, home depot all of those places. The bendy thing would work but you have to have complete darkness as well when the lgihts are off..
