Sucks about the WD. Not that surprised about the Diesel. It really is a hit and miss.

Why are those seedlings so far from the light? Looks like a foot or better...... Reveg looks great!

edit: by flip flop I assume you mean your medium change. Did you do a 50/50 mix of old and new to help buffer?
The WD's tail cam out of the pellet first so I gently flipped her right side up but she never did take off. This morning she was all shriveled up and wilted. They are there for the pics and then raised em back up to the light. And yes the up-can was a 50/50 mix of old and new.

If you have a compost pile you probaly dump your coffee grounds there. And pile or not. You can get get the benefits of the grounds by using them as a top dressing. A few tsps. sprinkled on top of your medium and watered in every 2 or 3 weeks and your plants will love you. I like to allow mine to dry out before using. Easier to spread evenly. Just remember it is a nutrient, so treat it as such...:peace:

PS-If you have a fungus gnat issue I would refrain from using the grounds until the pest problem is under control. No need to feed the enemy...

Right on brother and ya knows I can drinks me some coffee! Its my last vice I picked up during my tenure with Uncle Sam. Gave up the cigarettes and just about all the drinking but just can't give up that caffeine. Lil I was also wondering how many gnats does it take to become an issue? I get a couple every now and then and was just wondering?

Thanks for the TOTD's my friend.

Peace

Most households with plants have a few gnats. Keep you peels and veggie scraps covered. Any drains that do not get regular use a chunk of mosquito dunk dropped in them takes away a hiding place. You can run water through them every couple of days but can be tidious. And yellow sticky traps to monitor the population. Keep them at a few and your good....

And your welcome. And just so you know most of the folks around here are not all that surprised. Lots of hope and momentum going into the off season. And the Pats, what can I say it was Buffalo. lol And I am pretty sure we will only see most of the starter in the first half next week against the Fins...Bye week and lets get it on! Just as a reminder Riddle. The road to Dallas goes through Foxborough...

Lots of flushing products on the market at a premium price. And for what exactly. Citric acid for the most part all wrapped in a pretty package. Lemon juice is much cheaper and is just as effective at helping to relieve salt bonds in the medium. 1/2 tsp per gal and your good too go. Even with good feeding and watering habits you will probaly run into a situation were a little than just straight water is needed...:leaf:

I use Apple Cider Vinegar. RM3 is the one that pointed me to it. I'll remember lemon juice to use too.

My thread Well Here Goes Again has how my Purple Rain are going. #3 is culled out and #4 has taken His spot. #3-A, it's clone is going to a place to drop it's pollen. It's the tall Sativa-leafed pheno-type. I'll breed with it, but I want the Indica-leafed one to cross to it's matching pair.
Here's the re-arranged chamber.
I made it 'rain' on #6 with 2 1/2 gal. 6.4 pH water then fed her (damn near sure it's a her from her clone too).
She got 3/4 tsp. Jack's, 1 tsp. Morbloom (0-10-10) & 1/2 tsp. Apple Juice in a quart of water to finish her 'rain'. So it's Jack's is up to 300% or the outdoor dose of 1 tbs./Gallon. I moved #4 into the flowering chamber too.

Is it that it's the only annual with sexes on separate plants. All annuals I've ever planted had both organs.

That's what I was thinking. It has both male and female plants? Just a guess though.

Not surprised you two knew.....

it doesnt have a slot in any of the county fair floral contests?

And I was just joking about Humboldt. But wouldnt be surprised if their was a County Cannabis Fair. Maybe one of NW pals can fill us in.

You may wonder why I asked that question? Just to point out thats really the only basic difference from a botanical viewpoint(taking in the big picture). Other than that one difference they share 16 other things in common. Shrug the notion it needs extra special care to survive. Often the contrary. Its the extra attention that often causes the problems.

true, i have seen growers simply abuse their plants, grow them in lofts in the summer, and get stellar results. and on the flip i have seen them spend thousands on equipment and seeds and cant grow fungus gnats!!!

All right fellas, I hope ya all recovered from the new year and got in some good bowl time! Er ah football is what I meant ya heads! lol O things are starting to come along nicely. Got all kinda things going on in the garden and trying to get a grip on it all can be a little difficult. It's all good though because I don't really keep track of veg time. I really start my counting when they hit flower but thats just me. The good thing is I am writing things down now so better notes to keep track of things.

First up are the seedlings. The first set include the Big Band and three P/R's from Cowboy so I anticipate them to be some leggy bitches, The B/B is the bottom left and they all are starting to take off after the up-can and som F/E. The second set are the latest ones starting with the Skunk Special from Kanabia and has been slower than the other 2. On a side note, the next 2 were the random seeds from my last grow and were planted into the new mix straight. They had there cups topped of with a 50/50 mix and watered in with some ProteKt.

I took some clones today from my reveges of the P/R and Isis. The reveges will flip to flower and hope to make one each of these a mother.

My P/R and Isis reveges. The P/R was a little hungry and got a dose of F/E and Morebloom.
