I theorized that the Golden Globes snubbed True Grit because it did not lecture Americans for being Americans. He took that to mean the picture was jingoistic, which anyone who has seen it will tell you is false.

It is neither pro-America nor anti-America. It is simply an American story.

My theory is he confused the new True Grit with The Green Berets. His Depends must have been a shade too tight.

I do not watch Beck. No television. I do not listen to the 'Drugster' although I do catch Ed Schultz on the radio once in a while. Schultz fans are fairly easy to spot when they parrot him. Now there is a hot-headed extremist.

disclaimer: for those out there who didn't catch the subtle humor of my post, I was only kidding. I do not now, nor have I ever owned a man thong in any color scheme, design or pattern. I also rarely listen to, or watch Mr. Beck, although I am aware of him and find him mildly amusing. The parroting Glenn Beck thing was also a joke. Unfortunately, emoticons can only convey so much of that which is the complex range of human emotions. I almost forgot, I don't know how to whistle 'The Battle Hymn.....'. Not all of it anyways.
