240 watt multiple cfl small grow

Hey whats going on. I just decided to post a journal to document this small cfl grow. let me start by saying that i know that the plants would get bigger if i put them in different containers, however im doing this as an expirment just to see what kind of yeild i can get from cfls. So far its day 21 from seed, and im seeing rapid and good growth so far. I topped them early on and the stalks are getting very thick. Alot of branches to bud from and hopefully i want to clone them and keep some type of system going where i can keep it moving. The seeds are a mixture of bagseed, but only very good strains. Ive been saving them over the years of smoking. I saved you guys the trouble of seeing the first 3 weeks of pretty much just boring seedlings. Have a look at the half green half yellow leaf. ! peace:joint:

Allthought i do believe that it may be from the first feeding with nutes i gave them a few days ago. They seem to be recovering now. I was using MG plant food, and i think i may have done it a bit strong, however i made the solution more diluted. Are you refering to the half yellow and green leaf? or the yellow spots on one of the large fans? the green/yellow has been like that since sprouting that leaf set. Maybe its just a defect.

yea it is too early, I have some that are going on 65 days veging and still havn't shown any signs or preflowers, although i do g0t 2 females. I almost wish the others were male just to free up some space,

I'm interested in seeing how big your plants get, cuz I'll probly do something similar (1month veg/then bloom), if i can get this cloneing thing down

any reason your not using any 6500k clfs for vegging?

Thanks man. Yeah i just at the last minute decied to use the metal screen from a clothing rack to lst. over the last few days ive been using string and other things but this seems alot better. dang 65days they must be some big plants. i broke one of the branches off one of my plants and im trying to clone it in just a cup of water and a dome right now..well see what happens. and no reason for not using 65k..its was just what i had laying around. thanks.

One of the plants that sprouted was definitely one of my favorite strains. Nyc Sour Deisel. I had one seed mixed in with the others, and the smell and sight of the plant even at only about a month is unmistakable.

Question, what do you have all your bulbs screwed into? Did you build a light? I'm looking into making one. Right now I'm running 1 55w and 4 26w 27K, but I know I gotta up it, check out my post if you want to see my grow. Really want to make that Purple Twilight come out, I only have one left. Awesome grow regardless, I'm thinking I might try to wire 6-8 lights together, build a reflector, make that my "H.I.D", I know it won't be, but I would at least like to see if I could get comparable results, not nearly as good, but maybe similar. I saw one guy on Youtube, that had like 4-5 "lights" that looked like they were wired with like 4 85w 27K bulbs. I just want to find out more about safely wiring high-voltage before I try something like that.

Awesome job on the ScrOG btw, and you should practice some cloning when you have some shoots at the bottom you don't feel bad about taking, I mean, you're just going to clip everything under the screen anyway, so why not? I myself just tried to clone my Autoflower AK, she seems to be recovering, it's been 2 days and although she started out kind of "layed out" flat, she perked right back up and I suspect she's taking to the rooting hormone. It's cheap man, I picked it up @ my local nursery for like 3 dollars? and it's got enough in their to spare some practice.

I have all the bulbs screwed into a powerstrip and then i have a bar elevated from the celing that is holding the lights up evenly. they are dangling from the cords that i bought from wall mart for 5 bucks. then i used the "y" adapter/splitter to make 2 at each end. Ive actually added one extra 55w cfl..seems to being going great. As far as wiring, you should just be able to get the light lamp kit, its for making a lamp, from wallmart. its a dangling cord with a light socket on the end.this setup seems to work fine for about a 3x3 area under scrog. working good so far. light since i added an extra bulb seems to me much more intense.

thanks man. i dont even know what to expect. i know a previous mistake i made was to not let the plants get big enought...so im going to try to get them nice and fat.
