Hmmm,

"YOU ARE BUYING DIRECT FROM SOURCE FROM
OUR OWN (GOLD CUP WINNER) DUTCH BREEDER"

They don't mention the name of their "breeder" and seem to be selling seeds generally produced by other "established" breeders.
I think that they are simply growing other breeders genetics and mass producing feminised seeds.

The reason they are cheap is they haven't had to put the years of time and effort into breeding their own genetics.

ok grumpy & research kitty IMO all you have made are assumptions. They say they ARE the breeder. So because their prices are cheap, you have come up with all the reason you THINK that has to be the answer for which is ridiculous IMO. Have either of you personally used the site, and or tried to grow or have grow out their seeds?

And okay, if anyone says they are a rip off here then state WHY, did they rip YOU off or is it something you found posted on the web. I am still not 100% behind them just yet, but I will defend them & my current experience with them & tell you what that has been & is, so you can make an informed decision. I can't stand anyone blasting a company without your own proof or experience, it is just not right. So here is my experience:

Just like you I found them online. I looked through probably 30 sites, their prices of course were WAY lower then the average pricing, about 1/3 of average pricing from what I calculated. And the attractive thing to me was, (buying my very FIRST seeds online) was the risk of loosing only $19 was a SMALL risk, so I went for it. I ordered a dozen seeds for $19 whole USD. Now I am patient, because hey we are dealing with MJ SEEDS here. Finally after almost 2 months, I email them. No reply, a week later, email them again. Get a reply that they couldnt find an order from that email. Yep, my mistake, re-checked my records, I ordered under another of my emails. Re-sent them the information from that email AND sent them the copy of the original (reciept) email I got from my order.

They told me they determined enough time had passed, that basically I should have gotten the seed, & they have decided in this case to re-ship. I BELIEVED THEM. So much so the next week, I ordered another batch of seeds for another whopping $19. Trust, that's all, I just trusted them & they trusted me, that I actually did not receive the seeds. About 3 weeks later, I got the seeds, the first batch I ordered but never got, & they said they would replace....and did. The plastic vile was labeled with a # corresponding to the first seeds I ordered but never got until then. I was stoked. That was only about 10 days ago, so I expect the other ones "should" be here anyday now. And I would be happy to update when they get here to again, assure this company IS legit.

I imagine this is a tough business, especially when most of these companies ship seeds with NO tracking info. That leaves a LOT of room for anyone to say they didnt get their seeds & in turn try to rip a company off. Honestly I dont't know how most companies do it, & combat theft from "buyers" other then charging those OUTRAGEOUS prices to make up for the rip off artists. Granted sometimes seeds probably get lost in the mail, & sometimes confiscated from customs & people like me, for whatever reason, really didn't get the shipment; but I highly doubt that happens often.

As to the quality of the seeds, well I dont know. Less then 2 weeks ago, I started with those seeds in soil, first with 4 seeds, then with another 3 close behind. 3 out of the first 4 have sprouted, waiting on the others. The seeds themselves looked good, not like the non-viable crappy bag seeds I had prior, where only ONE out of like 10 I tried to germ, even germed at all, using any method. So far I am VERY happy with the seeds I got for the GREAT & UNBEATABLE price I got them out. The end product, will be interesting either way & sorry I cant believe any MJ I could hand grow & tend, could be anything but GOOD.

And I would never think someone was spamming or plugging a company just because it was their first post. I started lurking here at LEAST 2 months before I made my first post or even decided to commit to joining any site & committing my email to a MJ site; I think that is typical. What a better place to come to then with this many KNOWLEDGEABLE members to ask about a company, rather then simply surfing online. To me ROLLITUP has the BEST online MJ forums on the internet.

So for what it is work OP, there is my experience with them.

Just picked a seed at random that they sell (and claim to be the breeder of) ... Great White Shark

... and from their web page ...

"Great White Shark was the first prize winner of the BIO HTCC in 1997."

Great White Shark was indeed the winner in 1997, BUT the breeder (the people that spent the time and money creating that particular strain) was actually Green House Seeds, so not only are they ripping off GHS they are even saying it won the Cannabis Cup and inferring that they bred the strain.

The genetics may or may not be the same, but they certainly did not breed the strain.

I make feminised seeds of strains that I grow, should I call myself THE breeder?

grumpy, try looking up some definition of the word/term breeder or think about it in simple terms, when someone says they are a dog breeder, does that infer they bred that type of dog? Creating & breeding, two different things.

I got 12 Himalayan Gold Feminized seeds from this bunch of assholes.

Planted 3 and got 2 males and I doubt that they were Himalayan Gold anyway.

AFTER I had bought the seeds I did some research and found that they are very dodgy and you are unlikely to get what you order.

They are cheap but you may as well grow bag seed, at least you know it was a good smoke.

DO NOT BUY FROM CANNABISSEEDS.COM

I was just wondering if www.cannabisseeds.com was a legit site to order some seeds off of? The site came up as the second one from the top, on a google search.
To find the site legit or not, I did a whois search for Cannabisseeds.com from WhoisXY.com and found owner details. It looks good only. And i visited the site ScamAdViser.com and it showed "Low Trust Rating. This Site May Not Be Safe to Use." so don't use the site. You can try using Google and find another good site, then start using that site. You can use this method for finding a whether a site is legitimate or a scam one

Great white shark was actually bred by Shanti when him and Arjan worked together for the seed bank. Shanti still has the original parents and Arjan used the F1's to create his white shark that he sells these days so in fact, they are ripping off Shanti not GHS :)
