OMG. LOL WOW. Just WOW..... I ACTUALLY HAVE THIS STRAIN! Right now! LMAO I just bought this from my cousin a few days ago! It is definitely mildly psychedelic and I talked about the mildy trippy effects while playing a Nintendo 64 game on it a couple days ago in another thread! Great strain. Amazing. :D

Oracle of Hallucinogens
Strain: Purple Trash *{Purple Kush x Trash}
Sativa / Indica Hybrid Indica Dominant (~ 66% Indica / 33% Sativa)
Growth: Indoor
Nutes: Organic
Yield: Unsure
Bag Appeal: 10.00 / 10.00

Here is an absolutely beautiful strain comprised of all Old School Genetics! These mainly Indica buds are somewhat squat and very dense, although there is a definite Sativa influence colorwise. For the most part, this strain is rather uniform aesthetically; lime green buds with hints of white THC frosting, mixed with slight purple hues, and packed with beautifully resin-coated Pistils! An easy "Ten out of Ten" in my book.

Notes:

*The genetics of Trash are as follows:

(Trainwreck x Hash Plant)

Making the overall Genetics:

Purple Kush x (Trainwreck x Hash Plant)

Fragrance:

An interesting mix of Sativa and Indica coming together to make an extremely unique bouquet of fragrances. The fragrance is a pleasant combination of a Sweet-Floral, Limey-Pine-Sol, with lavender nuances mixed in with a more acrid, hash-like, dairy aroma somewhat reminiscent of Compost-like or a Trash-Like odor..
strange enough, the fragrance is somehow, awkwardly pleasant.

Strength of Fragrance / Taste / Category / Group / Fragrance

(Primary) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lime
(Secondary) Bitter : Vegetal : Plants : Tea (Tannin-Like)
(Tertiary) Sour : Dairy : Cream : Sour Cream
(Hint) Spicy : Sharp : Herbs : Mint
(Nuance) Spicy : Warm : Resinous : Pine
(Nuance) Sweet : Flowery : Blossoms : Lavender

* The undertone is a somewhat "hash-like" fragrance that I can not quite define.

Flavor:

The flavor is somehat more muddled than the fragrance, yet not entirely dissimilar. It is definitely less sweet than the fragrance and much more toward the sour - bitter side of things; something like a bitter-citrus mixed with a trash-like skunky undertone.

Strength of Flavor / Taste / Category / Group / Flavor

(Primary) Bitter : Vegetal : Plants : Tea (Tannin-Like)
(Secondary) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lime
(Tertiary) Sour : Dairy : Cream : Sour Cream
(Undertone) Bitter : : Chemical : Sulfur

The High:

The high is a nice balance of Indica and Sativa, leaning somewhat more toward the Indica side of things. It reminds me somewhat of haze, minus the hazy aspects.. a slightly heavy eyed, clear headed with a nuance of foggy, EUPHORIC, antidepressant / anxiolytic, and a rather upbeat! The high is definitely "old school" and unlike most of the other Indica : Sativa hybrids I see flooding the market. The high is not quite energetic, but definitely motivating. A great high for just about anything, and not overly potent either.

Medical Value:

Depression - After even a couple hits I could easily notice the mood lifting / antidepressant effects kicking in! I would definitely classify this strain as a Euphoriant, although it feels entirely natural. The semi-upbeat yet relaxing high that follows, for many hours at that, is sufficient at alleviating depression for the entirety of a day!

Anxiety - The blend of Calm and Happy makes this strain perfect for taking the edge off even the most strenuous of days! I highly recommend this strain to anyone taking prescription anxiolytics looking for an alternative medication!

Insomnia - Although I mention this strain being upbeat a few times in this report, I have zero doubt of its capability to help one ease into a beautiful night's rest.

Headaches - Simply put, I had a headache before smoking, and after three or so puffs and a couple of minutes, it was gone.

Muscle Tension / Muscle Pain - I am more pleased with Purple Trash than I am with most muscle relaxants I have encountered. It seems to put the mind and body is a perfectly relaxed state, I would imagine this would couple yoga, meditation, or stretching perfectly!

Antisocial - I find that this strain made social situations flow much more smoothly... not necessarily a high that makes you overly social, but it definitely gives a pleasant edge to the company of others.

Pretty sure I have a bag of some of this last stuff, are the nuggets hard as rocks? I mean literally, the ones I have I can squeeze pretty much as hard as I can in between my pointer and thumb, and they will not pop. The notes you mentioned also ring clear in this smoke, I love tasting weed the same way wine is tasted.

In any event, even if they are not the same, my smoke was killer, as I'm sure yours was!

Oracle of Hallucinogens

Strain: Ortega Indica
Genetics: Dutch Passion - (Northern Lights # 1 x 1970's Indica)
Sativa / Indica Hybrid: Mostly Indica
Growth: Greenhouse (fairly certain)
Nutes: Organic
Yield: Unsure
Bag Appeal: 9.00 / 10.00

A beautiful mostly Indica hybrid with a pleasant variety in color. Although not the most resinous buds I have seen, this Greenhouse grown Dutch Passion beauty has a shocking amount of resin! As the photo shows, this bud has an abundance of trichrome loaded pistils throughout the buds.

Fragrance:

With a large influence from the Northern Lights I had assumed correctly that this bud was not going to have an overly strong odor. It is only when broken up does the full array of fragrances become present. The aroma could be summarized extremely easily, Floral and Sweet with a bitter Nuance. The main flavor is somewhere between Lime and Jasmin, which makes an interestingly sweet floral Primary Fragrance. The Undertone is a mix of Pine and a nuance of Mild Tobacco. After all the pronounced fragrances are noted, there is a more subtle nuance of Peppermint that wraps this intriguing aroma perfectly!

Strength of Fragrance / Taste / Category / Group / Fragrance

(Primary) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lime
(Secondary) Sweet : Floral : Rose-Like : Jasmin
(Undertone) Spicy : Warm : Resinous : Pine
(Hint) Bitter : Vegetal : Plants : Tobacco (Mild - Not Robust)
(Nuance) Spicy : Sharp : Herbs : Peppermint

Flavor:

The flavor is pleasant, although, less pronounced than the fragrance, not mention more sweet. There is a notable floral-sweet aftertaste that pleasantly lingers on the palate for some time afterward

Strength of Flavor / Taste / Category / Group / Flavor

(Primary) Sweet : Floral : Rose-Like : Rose
(Secondary) Spicy : Sharp : Herbs : Mint
(Nuance) Spicy : Sharp : Herbs : Peppermint

The High:

Ortega Indica is easily one of my new favorite mostly-Indica Hybrids! I was thouroughly impressed, and have very little words other than perfect to describe the provided high. The best way that I can depict the high is like being in a trance, although with very little psychedelic influence, such as is present with a Sativa induced Trance. The mental focus is absolutely pristine! There is a definite Indica-stone, but very little couch lock. Although the high is not upbeat per se, it is definitely not a complete downer.. there is an absolute perfect mix of Up and Down mixed with an impeccable ratio of Spacey to Focused. Although I am not overly familiar with many Dutch Passion strains, if any others are like this, I fully recommend picking up some of their gear!

Medical Value:

Depression - Although not an upbeat high, there is a profound mental uplift.

Anxiety - Cuts through even the most stressful mindsets.

Anger Management - Although I am a somewhat calm person, I noticed in situations that would have been irritating and/or frustrating, this high ensured a cool head was maintained.

Insomnia - I will actually quote Dutch Passion for this segment:

"Our seven-person test team reported that Ortega Indica is a good variety to smoke before going to sleep, a feature present in all Indica strains, but more extreme in Ortega Indica. It works as an effective sleeping pill and tranquilizer. Ortega Indica is special in that it’s "stone/high" does not have a cloudy "morning after effect". In other words, the morning after smoking Ortega Indica, almost no cannabis effects are experienced any more."

Headaches - Definitely helpful.

Muscle Tension / Muscle Pain - Although it did not totally eliminate joint/muscle pain, it alleviated it to the point where it was comfortably manageable.

Meditation - Granted this is not a direct Medical use, Ortega Indica was perfect for letting go conscious thought and delving deeper into the psyche. I could see this strain being extremely therapeutic on many levels!

Damn you're right! That is some of mother sun's finer works isn't it. :D The hairs look like shredded cheese too! That anger management and meditation bit in the medicinal value section is most intriguing! Seems as if a vacuum replaces all concious thought. :D Gums up the cogs in your brain as it where. Slows everything down and makes you think things thru real good. :) Top notch as always Shepj! Can't wait for the new release. I know it's not far off. ;)

LMAO. I can't wait for the weed that get's a 4/10 on bag appeal but it's like the bombest weed he's ever smoked. :D
lol.. I have a feeling you wrote this on purpose ;-) There is a strain, hopefully higher than a four-out-of-ten, that should fit that description.

Oracle of Hallucinogens
Strain: Green Cush a.k.a. Green Crack (Skunk #1 x Afghani)
Company: Cecil C.
Availability: Clone-Only
Sativa / Indica Hybrid: Sativa Dominant Hybrid
Growth: Indoor
Nutes: Organic
Yield: Unsure
Bag Appeal: 10.00/10.00

An almost ten-and-a-half out of ten variety! Resin coated until nearly white, this bud is saturated in THC! This is easily some of the best looking herb I have ever seen, although, without a macro lens I can not even begin to take the pictures this strain deserves.

Fragrance:

Strength of Fragrance / Taste / Category / Group / Fragrance

A uniquely awkward and pleasant, "Sweet & dank/Funky n' Fruity" (Oaksterdam Nursery Summer 2010 Catalog pg. 7), fragranced strain.

I would describe it as a Citrussy-Skunk and Tropically-Sweet, with hints of Sweet and Spicy. The fragrance is rather pungent, the most noticeable aspects being Lime, Sulfur, and a Mango - Peach blend. The Green Pepper and Mandarine are noticeable, although, far less pronounced.

(Primary) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lime
(Secondary) Bitter : ------ : Chemical : Sulfur
(Tertiary) Sweet : Fruity : Tropical : Mango
(Undertone) Sweet : Fruity : Rosaceae : Peach
(Hint) Spicy : Warm : ------ : Green Pepper
(Hint) Sour : Citrus : Orange : Mandarine

Flavor:

Strength of Flavor / Taste / Category / Group / Flavor

A more acquired taste, a rather bitter and sour mix of earthy and citrus. The flavor was something like an Earthy Mushroom blend, tossed in with Almonds, mixed with Hints of Skunky Cheese, with a Citrussy-Lime Undertone. This bud seems to lean more toward the Indica genetics as far as flavor goes.

(Primary) Bitter : Earthy : ----- : Mushroom
(Secondary) Bitter : Nutty : Fresh : Almond
(Tertiary) Bitter : ----- : Chemical : Sulfur
(Undertone) Sour : Citrus : Lemon : Lime
(Undertone) Sour : Dairy : Milk : Cheese

The High:

A smash you in the face high! I was rendered unable to properly word this strain when I tried last night; it fell somewhere between Novel, Epic, and Legendary. A definitely must-try strain for any cannabis connoisseur!

The high sets in nearly immediately with crushing potency and continues to climb from that point! This bud could be described as "One Hit Quit" but if you insist on continuing, you will be high before you take a second rip. The high has an incredibly large array of effects, hence, such the long wait on the strain report!

The progression of the high starts with a brain smashin onset, followed by some serious euphoria. At times the high can be anywhere from Racey to Paranoid, even for those with high tolerances, an almost absolute "No" for any newbie or lightweight smoker. Heavyweights and Professionals Only Please! The high oscillates between Sativa and Indica; at times it is incredibly easy to focus, others, it is incredibly spacey. The effects morph between Upbeat, Trancey, to Paranoid / Racey, to Sleepy.

The duration of the high is rather long, if using at nighttime, be prepared for a buzz / mild-high in the morning. At the latter end of the experience, the high is predominantly trancey and perfect for a heavy sleep.

Medical Value:

Anxiety: Low Dosages Only! Anything above one hit would be counterproductive.

Depression: The Euphoria rivals some non-cannabis euphoriants, if this can not brighten the mindset, not much will.

Insomnia: The beginning of this strain's effects are rather Uppy, so if planning to sleep directly after intake, I would pass on this strain. Although, if using a couple hours before bed, Green Cush offers a near-perfect meditative / trancey and almost sleep inducing high at the comedown.

Nausea / Appetite Stimulation: I had food poisoning the day prior to this strain report, leaving me with a weak stomach, groggy, and weak the next day... the uplifting effects provided enough stimulation to eat some solid food without feeling sick, the comedown offered a good and full night's rest.

Pain: This mix of Sativa : Indica is nearly perfect for reducing muscle and joint pain of nearly any kind.

Scared me for a second buddy. :) Seemed like this strain wasn't fit for casual smokage and was a somewhat unstable hybrid. :D But I think anybody who's used to Marijuana could handle a few one-hitters during the day alright. Wouldn't you agree? Or would it send me on one of paranoid delusions of reality bending loops of conciousness from high school? Seriously, weed is powerful hallucinogen. O.O

I would say it is far too exotic to smoke casually.

But I think anybody who's used to Marijuana could handle a few one-hitters during the day alright. Wouldn't you agree?
I would say anyone used to Professionally Grown or Medically Grown Cannabis would be fine. If you are not used to smoking Racey Sativas I would steer clear (but then again I would stear clean from G13 and a couple of Haze strains at that point).
