My first indoor grow set up, hows it look

Ive grown outside but never inside, this is a fast and simple set up that i made today. please let me know what you think and give any suggestions


This is the closet i will be growing in. all lights are on in this pic, no leaks!



the doors open, the black towel blocks any light that leak through the door crack. i will only be using the bottom half atm, later on when i can clone I will set up the top half with a cloner and my pc box to veg. I hope to have all 3 contained in 1 space for my ease.



I just picked up the towel half way to show the reflective back that i added, with that and the fresh white paint i hope to get the max out of my lighting



towel all the way up, you can see the raised 5 gallon over a plastic bin to collect any run off. I plan on more lights later on but the 4 i have running now are a T5 and 3 cfl. the 2 sides are daylight and the middle is blue something.
i dont remember the watts on the cfl. I got them a few months ago and no longer have the packaging, I do remember that they were the strongest i could find though.

thats my set up! please, any advice is welcome.

That should work.good job on no light leaks.have u ran it to see what temps do? Do you have intake/exaust?or just that big ass fan?

my ownly advice coming from a former only cfl grower lol me =) now i would add some more 43watters or now you can get a 65 watter for an e38 socket which is your normal light bolb socket. and get dif spectrums like 2700k for flower, and 6500 for veg. but other wise your ownly concern is height if you compact the grow space i gauranty you can have like 3+ oz dry ive done it before in a rubbermaid. also use a screen. but keep up the great work it looks stealthy.

Just the big ass fan, i had a thermometer but my friend broke it a few days ago...fuckin stoners... i will get another soon, with the lights and fan i say it feels like 77-79. i am no weather man but i have always had a thing with guessing temps.

Do you think the lighting is good for the first few weeks of veg?

I plan on adding atleast 6 more lights for the veg, is that too much or should i get more? it will take about 2 weeks for me to get them though

dont bother with cfl's, its cheaper to buy weed or too go and get an HPS
those 6 more lights will run your tab up to basically how much a 400hps costs

You add any more light in there and you're going to need to start exhausting the heat. Even now... you should have the door cracked during the day time for the air flow. During the night time the humidity is going to increase to unacceptable levels once the plants are transpiring.

Gotta vent.

i will keep an open eye on that, i plan on an hps at some point but i cant just now. I thought cfl were 100x cheaper

i have no issues leaving the door open on a daily basis, i never have company but when i do IF they venture to that side of the house and enter that room the closet will be closed and free of suspicion... i hope anyway

Im no expert but from what I see you got you should go with some High Intensity Fluorescents. I think a HID light would be too much for that small space but I know they sell High Intensity FL's that would probably be better than what you have. Just a suggestion? Never tired them, but Look into them. See what u think

i know some plp dont like them but the led lights have came a long way up to 8watt bulbs ive tried the UFOS had to add another when budding, an they worked great for me no heat if anything youll have to add a cfl for heat and a humidity gage at walmart for 6$

thanks i have it bookmarked now,i took a quick look and that seems like a good deal to me. I still cant afford it yet and i dont know if they ship to europe but i will look further into it when i can spend a bit more

im 1000s miles from a wallmart rightnow, ive heard good and bad about led lights the bad for me is the price. i wouldnt mind using them in addition to other lights in future grows i just have no $$ at all rightnow
