TOPPING or LST ?? Chem Valley Kush and Master Kush

So I should be getting my seeds anyday now. Going to be germing 6 reg Chem Valley

Kush beans, and 6 reg masterkush. I will be vegging them for 3-4 weeks, or less, in soil.

Going to be using a 600 watt with a 90 watt ufo for supplimentary lighting. I have never

tried any of these methods to increase yields, but would like to get the largest yield

possible. I have a 3x3 tent to work with also.

Please feel free to add input on which method you think is best, I would really appreciate some help! Thanks:peace:

Training your plants takes some effort. I would go with topping (as I usually do), but I am really no expert in that field. :\

Both! Top and then when the extra branches get some length on them, LST. I just did that combo on one and have ended up with 16 even sized colas. =)

Just experiment man. That's the best way to figure out which method you like better. Maybe try a couple topped and a couple lst'd?

I kinda wanna keep them all the same just to keep things simple since this will be my first grow with this new setup. Thanks for the quick replies though guys, how long would I have to veg if I was to top and lst?

Ummm I've never did it topping and lst but when I Lst depending on how big I want th
I veg for 3-5 weeks.
Thanks for the quick response, and also thank you very much for writing the tutorial in your sig. The others on this site are kind of confusing.. So what is the most basic and least amount of steps I can do to lst my plants to increase yield? Can I bend them over and tie them down just once? Or are more steps needed?

Na you can bend them over once or you can do it Many of times it's all up to you man. I personally like to do about 5-7 tiedowns but that's just a preference. You can tie your plant down just once and still get lst effects just the plants usually need at least a 2nd tiedown because they tend to try to correct themselves first before the chemicals have time to be distributed to dormant bud sites.

Alright I'm still kinda confused on how it's done lol but I really appreciate your efforts to help. I just don't understand what to do after the first tie? So u tie down near the tip.. Leave it for a week then take off that tie and tie down where else??

No when you tie a plant down, leave it tied until it's cut. After your first tie down, the plant will just correct itself at first. After its original top begins growing back up just add another tie down. The more times you tie down, the more results you will see. Once you have the results you want just let the plant grow up and flower.

So during veg I just continuously tie down the new top, bending it horizontally.. Leaving every tie in place? How many ties should I do with a max veg time of 4 weeks?

will you be posting a new thread or doing it in here?
I want to see how your chem valleys do since you will be starting yours before i start mine...

I'm not sure dude, I think it would be more suiting to make a proper journal? Idk if it matters tho. What is your opinion on training Wyte?

LST is really easy bro, but it does take work. I usually have to retie my plants after a week or so.
The main point is to keep your canopy even,
Just tie every new growth down so its even with the rest.
Heres how it should look. (I use fishing line/string & drill holes in your pots)

I've also topped and LST the same plant
topped this girl twice then tied her down

AFTER

I like doing both, but you better make sure you have the room. The plants get big!

Ummm I'd go for 4 or 5 man like you will see once you start tieing it down and from there you can judge how many times you want to.
