I havent really seen many journals about these, but here we go.....
I started this grow at the start of october, and Im now 3 short weeks away from a very stoned christmas
Grow room:
1m x 0.6m x 1.8m cupboard - lined with diamond reflective sheeting.
Air in passivly through the bottom, and out through the fan at the top of the cupboard
Equipment:
1 x 250w HPS lamp and reflector - this was given to me by a mate - free!
1 x 5" Rhino filter - bought this after my last grow made my house stink, it freaked me out a bit, so i got my cash out to ease my mind!
1 x S&P TD Mixvent fan, 350m3/hr fan this sucks air into the room, through the filter and back out again, pretty damn quietly, well recommended for a small space.
Soil: B&Q Multipurpose compost, nothing fancy here!
Nutes: some year old canna vege and bloom nutes, I dont really trust them, I got them through someone else, and I have no idea where they have been stored, and how long they have been open etc... so I only give the plants a tiny tiny bit every now and then.
Right, so this is my second grow, I grew out some bagseed sativa stuff a few months back, and it was mental, it took about 14 weeks to finish flowering, and was such a stretcher, I had it lashed down to a metal frame over and over again, there was no ventilation, suffered a few light leaks, two or three plants in a pot, loads of males, a couple of hermies, but i still got some alright smoke from it. heres a couple of pics before we start:

I got 5oz of light airy buds off that. So i decided that i wanted to give autos a go after the 4 month marathon with those bloody giraffes and bought some kit and some seeds, and off i went.....
So I started this with the seeds, germed in paper towel.
6 days later they were cracked, planted and popped their heads up on their mission of getting me really mashed for christmas 2010!
anyway...
blah, blah, blah, sets of leaves, nodes, pistils, water, blah, blah, blah........
This is the bit of a grow journal everyone skips through anyway..............
One month later.....
They have shot up, and one of them had a couple of bananas on one of the nodes, one had split, i didnt see the fecker, hopefully it hasnt ruined the whole thing, I took the offending plant out of the cupboard, put it on the bathroom floor, shouted at it, gave it a good inspection, and walked about deciding weather to kill her/him/it, after some thinking i decided that it had already burst a pollen sack, and i have got the other couple off, so it could go back in, fuck it, its all free weed!
They are popping up with budsites all over, and nice and healthy. Because they are budding away, I decided to give them a teeny weeny bit of bloom nutes, and a couple of days later they moaned at me for it (like I said, i didnt trust those nutes!) So I flushed them with water, and left them to it, Im not going to be doing that again, from now on it will be just water, and mollasses for them......
So that was two weeks ago, now to bring us up to date........
They are 3 weeks away, Im keeping a close eye out of for budrot, I live in a flat that is quite damp in the corners, so mould is a possibility :S
The buds are getting a nice covering of crystals, and are good and dense little rocks of green, the pistils are begining to turn red, and the smell is sweet.
At this point, from what Ive seen of other grows, Im aiming for at least one oz per plant, 5oz is a nice amount of weed to keep me stoned for a while. Lets see if I get what Im after!
Like I said, Im not going near those nutes again, so its just a teaspoon of mollasses dissolved into a cup of hot water, then mixed with a gallon of cold tap water PH 7.0, left to evaporate beforehand, the mollasses brings it down to a cool 6.6-6.8ph, happy daze!
So now we are up to date, stay tuned for more updates! Im not going to flake out like so many diaries on here, I think thats why I left it till this stage to begin, cos this is the real interesting bit isnt it!

Hey man great looking plants! Check my grow out too, we are doing the same strains. I got Roadrunner, Haze and Auto AK47's going. I planted the sprouts in the soil on October 7. When did you plant yours? We might be almost on the same schedule. I'd like to compare. I'm using CFLs though so my side branches are not so well developed as yours.
My next project is going to be some Dinafem critical + grown in a waterfarm with a scrog, Ive been inspired by the epic waterfarms Ive seen on here, scottyballs' pineapple express grow looks lush. So after this Ill be on the photoperiod, I prefer the photoperiod, its more involved, autos are a bit too plug n play, perfect for learning for quick, reliable lessons!
