Bho Pregunta!

ok so i made some bho today. i put about 14 grams in my tube. I read online that the general consensus is to use one can vector (6 2/3 ounces) for 28 grams. But the can barely seemed to go for a minute, which doesn't seem very long. It didn't seem long enough to fully extract all the thc. Can someone shed some light on this for me or at least tell me how much butane per weed you guys use. thnx

its not really a set calculation.

imagine it kinda like rolling a joint (the weed inside the tube that is)

if its packed too loosely the butane will just jet around the weed
and if its packed too tight ull get dead areas where the butane wont penatrate

basicly the less weed u use the smaller a tube u should use and a slightly smaller drain hole to increase preasure (slightly)

well im goin to pick up a glass turkey baster tomorrow. seems like thts what most people use.

I run a can per ounce, give or take.

oh and the boiling point for butane is less than 32F, and its expansion into gass can sometimes speed butane through the tube.

if u refridgerate the tube and butane beforehand it will lower the thermal exchange rate and should slow your flow.
and a layer of insulation can be handy, not to mention hand warming.

i do not recomend puting butane in the freezer, technically it wouldnt be an issue, but i dont trust those rubber seals when they get to cold, messes up the feed.

ok but please, please, be carefull, make sure u have a foolproof filter on bottom, cuz if that drain clogs, that "turkey baster" becomes a pressurized glass "vision remover".

im pretty sure the filter would blow off way before the glass would explode. i would be using 2 coffee filters btw. would you think a stainless steal baster would be safer?

hell yes. or the kind that is metal encapsilated glass w a small window.

its just glass gets fuckin brittle when its cold, and at preassure just the tinniest little tap could turn it into a home acupuncture session
