Okay so I just germinized my seeds and do I have to wait the two days after I place them to germinize?
And I heard that you have to water the soil then poke about and inch hole deep and place the seed UPSIDE DOWN?!? Is tht true or does it really matter which way it is placed? How long after do u gotta wAtter it?

Is the seed already germinated? in other words has the seed cracked and there was a root tip poking out and then you planted it? If you just planted a whole ungerminated seed it dosent matter what direction you put it in and you water it when the pot starts to get dry. If you did germinate it before potting the tap root gous down.

The rule of thumb is to plant the seed with the tap root down. Plant seeds twice as deep as the width of the seed. The soil needs to be moist but not saturated. You can drown the seedling if the soil is too wet. I put plastic over the top of the containers until they pop out of the soil.

Yeah they are germinated with tails and everything
but wh do you place plastic bags over it?
To keep the soil moist without saturating it and to keep the humidity up. The little seedlings love humid. Once they pop through the soil you can remove the plastic.

Yes it's true, but as you see others will disagree. You shouldn't have to water for a week to 10 days unless you're growing in peat pots.

wtf is that super fucking random... thread got twisted fast.. I Thought when a seed sprouts the white tail, it should face down because it pushes up and the seed pops out the top of the soil.
