so what do people recommend for a small 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent sort of size. am in uk so ideally something I can get online. What brands do you recommend? dont mind paying a bit more for something good quality.

Same here with my Secret Jardin100, plain bad stitchin'
See the second one they sent me was the secret jardin 3 1/3' x 3 1/3' x 6 and it took me 20 minutes to setup and the tent slid on with ease and looks great.

The Larger is the Viagrow 4'x4'x7' (thats the one that gave me problems) and the smaller is the Secret Jardin.... I'm still trying to decide what type of lights to put in them... I'm debating on 400w VS 600w HPS/Mh in the big tent (dont really want heat issues) and some sort of CFL setup in the smaller one for clones/germs & seedlings/mothers.

I hear good things about growlab tents.

On the tents models 80 and up, there sweet sealed viewing windows. I wish I had gotten a growlab now, next tent I guess, or whenever I can convince wife that I HAVE to one, or else all of our sexy gals will die!!!!!!!!

How is the stitching in that Jardin? And I have a 400w in mine with an aircooled hood, it all works like a charm. always in the mid 70's except at night and with lights off, I just turn down the inline fan half speed or more and it is great, still working out small kinks though, like lightproof passive intake.

Are you saying the Jardin is the pic on the right?

the stitching didn't give me any problems. I was thinking of doing something CFL in the jardin.... not to sure...

But i have FINALY made my decision on a ballast for the large tent... Lumatek 600w dimable HPS/Mh ballast which i will order tonight.

Sounds sweet, Wish I had finagled an extra tent from NEHYDRO, thats where this "pin cushion" came from.

One thing that also makes me wonder, is when the outside room of the is pitch black and the light is on inside, you can see the tent itself illuminating, not hard core, but like it was slightly glow-in-the-dark. Any of you notice that, or is this cheaply thin?

The title says it all. I decided to scrog grow in my tent, which I think is the best way to maximize usage of the space. Rather than building a screen, I just used two longer, thick bungees to form opposing sides. I then used small bungees to fasten (2)2' x 4's plastic fencing from Lowe's Garden Center, from one bungee to the other, forming a nice tight screen. It's easy to set up and remove and I can adjust the height by simply sliding the bungee hooks up or down!

This is my second tent grow. 600 watt MH/HPS. The strain is Bubblelicious and the method is hydro, growing in General Hydroponic's WaterFarms. Check out the grow in my sig if you'd like details and more info. I'll be covering the harvest, dry and cure as well, in the same thread. A start to finish, if you will.

I'll sub this thread too. I think tents are a great way to open up your inside grow and containing the environment. My tent has a variable speed 450 cfm vortex fan, that draws it's air from inside the tent, through a 6" charcoal can filter that is about 28" in length. The light is air cooled with it's separate intake and exhaust with a 160 cfm 6" inline booster fan.

I have a remote hygrometer and thermometer installed. The base unit allows me to see my room temp and humidity, and what it is inside the tent. I had to install a window AC in my room to keep tent cool.

Check out the pics..

Hey, super sweet, your gals look so lush! I have the same setup almost except for a separate fan for the light. How do you like the easycool 6? And are you using that bottom port as passive intake instead of the flaps?

Hey, someone remembers! LOL.... it was 10.5 ounces.....

However I 5ran into mildew early in cure and went into disaster recovery mode and water cured the bud. It went from 10.5 oz to about 6 oz. Check out my thread in my sig, I just posted a pic of the LED bud vs the hps bud.... the LED water cured bud is on the left.
