I sent mine on the 23rd of October We should get ours around the same time. I am anticipating mid February - March.

What do your cards look like? Here in Maine it's plastic and has a MJ leaf on it (in color!), and the background has this sorta holographic leaf stamped all over it.

So the way I understand it, its taking about 4 long months (1/3 of a year) for the card to come in the mail, and it costs $100 + ~$150 for doctor to get it. Then, when the year is up, I would have to re-apply, send in another $100 + $150 for doctor, and wait another 3-4 months? Wow! Government work at its best. Let's start a petition to privatize the application process. It would be more efficient and streamlined.

I'm still debating getting my card, I mean, paying that kind of money to be put on a government list of users. Recently Colorado just accidently published every grow op in the state. Feds will be ball busting everyone of them. Do you trust the government keeping your op safe? I don't. Haven't got caught yet, knock on wood, so why change. I'm very small time. Just me and my lady, 4 plants. That's it. Not really sure I want to get my card.

Yeah I was led to believe from everyone on this site that the 1 year validity of the card was not started until they printed it and mailed it which is not true. IE your paperwork is good for about 3 months, then you get the card and have 1 year.

I sent in my app on 9-2-10. 21 days later I was legal with paper work. I got my card 1-6-11 (i think - it was around there) but the issued date on it is 9-27-10. So for about 3 1/2 months after the "issue date" I didn't have a card.

The whole process is ridiculous.

A friend sent in his paper work to the state last week and his check has already cleared. How long before I can legally begin to grow his medicine?
I filled out all the info to be his care giver and he sent it along with his.
